Greenbynature wrote: »Euro your not alone my biggest problem is my food bill! Mainly due to 3 bottomless pits - the kids lol They're all slim as well, which I find so unfair cos if I ate as much as them I'd be the size of a house lol
When I'm organised I do stick to a shopping list and I just tell the kids when it's gone, it's gone til the next time I go shopping. Some weeks I manage to stick within my budget but other weeks its a nightmare. I keep looking at the weekly meal plan thing on the os board but haven't tried it yet.
Glad I'm not the only one!
I'm afraid I'm also one of those bottomless pits who rarely put on weight. Never used to put any on, but you know, I'm not 16 anymore and so it creeps on more easily these days! lol
But, I think part of my problem is that I eat a lot of bad stuff. I do now eat a lot of good stuff, which is better than I used to be, but there is still room for improvement.
So, as well as trying to stick to a budget, I'm also going to try and eat for nutrition and overall health. I don't want to do it on a calories based or weight loss premise as I always fail on those and then binge eat. So, from now on, it's going to be about making healthy and tasty food choices. More fruit, veggies, lean meats etc etc
Now, if I could just get over my diet coke (or any fizzy drink for that matter) obsession, then I would probably save a small fortune.February wins: Theatre tickets0 -

Talking about food and bottomless pits my OH moved in a couple of weeks ago. I had to laugh (secretly)...:p:p:p
I brought two packs of yoghurt coated bananas from Holland and Barratt on Saturday. Ate one pack at work and thought Sunday when I come home I'll share the other pack with OH.....got home, couldn't find them and thought `oh well'....
Monday OH had the runs all day - guess who'd ate the lot?:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:
He moaned like stink, said they were out of date etc....funny I never had a problem.....as I ate the other bag.
He went very quiet then !:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Morninga ll,
Bloomin miserable weather here!!
Well still no expenses from work but have still made a PAD £4.24 towards halicrap CC.
Martins email promted me today, I think it is time to look for a new card to Balance Transfere to. I haven't had a new one at all this year, or new acc or anything so credit should be ok, just tossing up between the sainsburys one and the PO one - anyone had dealings with either of them? Also thing transfereing to a 0% would give me a little boost!
Hope everyone has a great day.New surname New start!

G'day g'day!
Weird PAD for me today. I was looking at my spreadsheet and worked out how to round down my current account after a recent cheque has cleared. Or so i thought. First i made a payment of £15.16...updated my spreadsheet...and the amount didn't tally. So i checked again...made another payment of 88p...and the amount still didn't tally. Scratching my head, i then realised 'Maths! You're doing it wrong!'. Duh. So made another payment of £8.24...and it worked.
So.
My PAD today is a wonkly £24.28
