A Payment A Day - Part Six!

  • At the moment, my flat resembles the inside of a garage and I'm having to walk around and over things just to cook a meal or have a bath. It will probably be 2 - 3 weeks before it stops looking like a bombsite. Oh how I hate living like this. Try to remember that things could be worse...you might not have anywhere to live or a job or a warm meal at the end of another long day

And things have been a lot worse a long time ago. I've slept in squats, shop doorways, a derelict caravan, a wendy house in an adventure playground, a hospital waiting room. I even sneaked into a railway area and kipped in the carriage for the night. I wouldn't fancy doing all that again.

    Good morning All!

    Happy hump day!

Still no PAD's for me :( No win on the bingo either, booooo! lol. But hey, I don't lose anything by playing either so can't complain :)

Mmmm, I haven't gone overdrawn or spent on the CC etc, but have still spent far too much on groceries this mont. More than was planned and it's my own fault for being so lax with it this month. I knew I had the bonus money as a backup so I was just too relaxed with it this month.

This is the one area where I find it hardest to stick to a budget. I have an appetite that almost matches my OH's and I'm a sucker for convenience food / buys. Anyone else have this problem? If so, how did you overcome it?

I'm sick of being annoyed about it and not really changing it, so am thinking of starting up a diary for that, and everything else, to help keep me on track. You know, I could prepare a list of meals and lunches each week and then see how well I am at sticking to it. What do you think?

Oh, on a lighter note, payday is only a week away and Christmas is fast approaching. I get to see family and friends in 4 and a half weeks! :)
