    Happy New Year Everyone!!!

Im going to be a bit soppy here :rotfl:

2009 has been a year of highs and lows for me, and as many of you are aware as finished on quite a low for me with the death of a very close friend. I couldnt have got through all the lows of 2009 with the help of all my friends and family - but also i have alot to thank everyone on this thread for!! All the support, advice and kind comments have made those hard times just that little bit easier.

I have no doubt that 2010 will also have its highs and lows, but heres to starting out on a high!! We have paid off our debts, and are now saving to move out of OHs parents and hopefully it wont be long until we can have our own home again!

Thank you to everyone that has helped me on here xxxx

So how many hangovers have we got in the house today??

Im quite surprised that i am fine this morning. We were only planning a quiet night, a meal with some friends and a few drinks - but that didnt go to plan :rotfl: drank so much champagne (which i dont seem to remember paying for, the place we had a meal gave us a free glass each and OH doesnt like it so i didnt want to waste it! Then the pub gave us each a free glass).

Paul - you are so positive despite being on a budget that would make most of us quake.
green - I only used a spreadsheet for adding the whole months total up, put it in every day so I didn't lose any. The rest were done the old fashioned way, in my head, then added up with pen and paper. Took longer but kept the brain going (and at my age you need to keep as many grey cells as you can!)

Glad everyone had the New Year they wanted. I just wonder why people text me in the early hours. They know that normally I'm in bed early. Even my mum did it. She got in at 4am, she's 75 this year!

My dad is 68 this year and went to bed at 4am after staying up drinking with his neighbours following his villages local (outdoor) street party.

I'm going to be 30 this year and stayed in with friends, going to bed around 12.30am :rotfl:
