My first PaD of the year is £1.01 to the cc's. I too stayed in as usual, the last time I went out on NYE was millennium and that was only to sisters! DS was out so promised myself I would actually stay awake and see new year in, but fell asleep at 10 to midnight, and woke up when DS rang at 10 past. Thats what I get for having half a glass of wine.

Morning again everyone
Happy New Year!!!
Paul hun, I so know the feeling, I was woken at 11.55 with the fireworks and people shouting, they died down and then another uproar at 12 exactly, then again at 5past with people shouting happy new year etc and then pretty much regularly every 20 mins or so till about 4am
Not to mention a "friend" texting at midnight twice. Im not a grumpy !!!! usually but friend knows im home with four kids and not waiting up, if I get the babies down for 8 and I dont go to sleep till 1am, when they wake at 6 im gonna reallly suffer.:mad::mad:
Its ok though, she was drinking champagne and lager last night so I just know she'll have a sore head today.I think ill text her good morning in a mo :rotfl: well its only right I should reply
OK enough rambling, onto PAD's and im pledging a whopping £2.82 today.please Green?
Im determined to get DF this year, ive been padding for almost exactly one year today and my debt is higher now than it was then due to unneccesary spending  so today I vow to get our butts out of debt in 2010
Hope you all have a lovely day and dont wake with sore heads

happy new year everyone!
no sore heads in our house, DS1 tucked in at 8pm, i went to bed at 9.15pm(a very poor effort even for me!), DS2 fell asleep about 10pm & DH fell asleep shortly thereafter but didn't actually come to bed until about 2am. we heard lots of fireworks about midnight , too, but i got back to sleep quickly.
just finished my online banking & checked on my M&S credit card statement (use this like a debit card and pay off every month) - and i need to get stricter. since the garage conversion last may, i have been a bit relaxed about spending but it needs to stop now. i want to get the argos bill back down to nil (all interest free, but we still owe it!) and start building up our savings again.
we're not planning a trip to the US this year but we do have a few expensive  bills that i know about so i need to plan... leah needs to be spayed in march and the suspension is going on my car. we also want to visit family on the isle of man this summer.
as long as i don't go to the shops, i won't spend. so i'm aiming for my weekly trip to mr a's for food, continuing the meal planning and minimising waste (which we are quite good at already but always room for improvement...). and no days going to the shops just to see what there is! leah will help with this, as i don't like to leave her for too long...
back later with a PAD. need some breakfast now!Mortgage free as of 11/11/15 !
:Anow... to start some serious saving :A
