Mobiles.co.uk

Options
I've found mobiles.co.uk through moneysupermarket that offer you what seems unreal cashback offers (most i've spotted so far is £391!!) or offer your gifts like Wii's or PSPs etc

Has anyone used them before? there offers seems a bit too good to be true

I've not seen it in the weekly emails before so i'm a bit unsure :-S

Anyone got any ideas how the free months (redemption) works?

    Hi

Redemption cashback is explained in full if you click "Customer Service", "FAQ" on the left side of our site, but your current understanding is not right - these schemes all work by paying the full line rental to the network but then claiming back the discount at set points through the contract from the retailer.

If this isn't your cup of tea then "Auto Cashback" is paid in full by cheque with no claim needed 2-6 weeks after your returns period has finished.

    Ok, thanks

I've read quite a few bad reviews so I'll wait and see what people on here think too

Do a search on here for more of the same!

(Bear in mind it's just another online trading name for cpw (like e2save/onestopphoneshop, and presumably you know what they are like - if not, plenty of problem threads here to search for)

    Another thing to note.

IF you have problems with Mobiles.co.uk and post on MSE dont expext the rep to then be "helpful" by posting on your thread.

As over the past few weeks there posts have only been to threads which may get them a sale.

As the rep is no where to be seen on the problem threads anymore. Yes mobiles.co.uk has taken a bashing on MSE but now they only use there account to view and never reply to the problem threads.

    It's a shame, cos i quite fancy a contract for £5.80 a month after £220 cashback :(

Numerous times I asked that unless people would just let us get on with helping actual customers with actual issues without sticking their oar in we'd not be able to continue. You can find numerous 10-page threads where the OP was absent and it was just page after page of attack, speculation and diatribe. MSE is not a viable arena for CS activity and requests to speak to those with the biggest axe to grind (and even offers to consult them on future changes, past issues etc) were ignored.

If you are considering using us please bear in mind the massive numbers of happy customers we have vs the unavoidable but regrettable few for whom there is a problem.

Other company reps seem to do just fine on here. Maybe that says more about you and your company.

OP - good luck - you will need it.

Got to be one of the worst suppliers ever !!!!
The rep is a complete waste of time unless he tries to promote sales as he is doing here !!!

Have a read of some of the threads on here before you commit and you will see how bad the company is ...
