I would like to inform to you that i went through a similar problem, but i did inform my bank and my money was refunded in about a week's time of 69.99
I hope you do take the same action as well...
Make sure you enquire twice before even opting for the same.

I refer to a loan application that was made on 5/3/2010
Firstly, i found it odd that they were 're-branded' from 'Enhance Finacial Services' to 'Magic Finance Group', but naively gave them the benefit of the doubt...
Having encountered several problems with contacting the company, and never actually receiving any document other than the cancellation questionnaire, i have requested that my application be cancelled and a full refund given, this hasn't happened yet...
In the first instance, a form was sent to me that had my name on the address line, another person's details on the 'dear mr. ...' line, and the letter contained further details relating to neither of the first two names and stating personal details that should never be divulged to anther member of the public. Has this happened to anyone else?
I have requested replacement forms on four separate occasions and been told that they have all been sent, but all have never arrived....suprise suprise!
I have telephoned on several occasions and been given ticket numbers for a 'callback' and never received a phone call from anybody at Magic Finance Group.
I have come to the conclusion that Magic Finance Group have intentionally taken a payment from me knowing full well that the process would never be completed, and have sent a copy of this email to the Office of Fair Trading, has anyone else done this? If so what was the outcome...
Hopefully, this will never happen to another 'customer' and Magic Finance Group will start doing what they promise to do...0 -

maybe i'll start charging for common sense lessons eh?
Thick.....no.
Desparate......yes.
I've never had to pay someone to give me a loan. Would set the alarm bells ringing straight away. I've been fortunate in the past always being able to borrow from my bank.0 -
That'a bit harsh.

I wish I'd read this review before giving Magic Finance my details. The £69.99 handling fee has been taken by a company called Enhance Finance who appears to be part of the Magic Group, so beware of this company too.
I've been unable to contact them by telephone or email, despite pressing the option for new loans too! I've contacted trading standards, watchdog and the Sunday Mail's Judge column too..........doubt I'll see my money again but if it stops someone else getting stung like me it's worthwhile...
Has anyone got their money back or had a loan given to them at the monthly repayments originally quoted???0 -
i have also just had dealings with magic finance like any one else am a little financially unstable and needed help clearing debts i have a family of 5 children and they also took the 70 pounds off me also am really dissapointed that a company could take money from people with families who just want to make life a little more comfortable they may aswell have taken the food from the kids mouths i am really disgusted0
