Well, I've got my kit ready, and I have told the children that I will head out first thing.....so I am pretty sure I will do so. (she says, with more confidence than she really feels :o)

Had a great time last night. I was trying to watch the calories as well as the spends. I did spend money, but it was cheaper than normal when I meet up with these friends.

Meal - £23 inc tip and a few drinks
    Drinks - £8.80
    Taxi - £4

    I also spend £23 - on hair
Plus £4 on tips - 1 girl coloured it and another dried it
£12.60 on 3 pairs of birthday/christmas present handwarmers
I also bought 2 tops = £42 :o but I had a £15 voucher. Still feel guilty though, but I will wear both to death at work, so it's not like my frivolous old self.

So yesterday was a a bit of a mammoth spending day = £102.40

Right, just popping over to Hypnoland for a running update............

But you had a nice day, and seem to have got a lot of "value" for your money, so not so bad in the grand scheme of things!

Yes, one step at a time I suppose....

Lots planned for today (though I woke up this morning to 2 excited little girls, as Daddy had promised them we could go swimming or bowling and out for tea!)

None of that is on my agenda:
    • Do 2 loads of washing / drying
    • Iron a HUGE basket - might have to start that soon, as the later it gets, the less likely I am to do it
    • Continue the bedroom decluttering - I am seeing an improvement there. Having extra storage for the kid's clothes has freed up loads of space in our room. :T
    • Re-paint the Doll's House and glue on the veranda's that DD1 broke off when she was 2!
It's hardly a major job, it's just something that needs fixing and I'll feel better when it's done!
    • Go to buy (cringing at spending again - but this comes out of our joint pot and will finish things off in the house and reduce low-level stress) - 2 lampshades + the kids need new socks
    • Make a nice MSE dinner and mentally prepare for the week ahead!
    • Oh - I might also try and squeeze in a run :o

another busy day you've got planned again.
i went spending yesterday - bought 4 long sleeved tops, but they came to 24 squids and are going to replace some tops which are about 10 years old. still feel guilty though even though they are much needed

Think I need to take a leaf out of your book LT :o:o:o

So far, not much has been done.....

I deviated from the list and cleaned all the mirrors, pictures and switch plates :A

I've washed and dried a load and put another in.

I've gathered the ironing, put up the ironing board - then decided against it, so made a coffee and read the papers instead!!

I'm going to do the bedding now, then at least the worst part is out of the way, then we're off to the shops.

DD1 keeps bleating on about bowling, but I'm trying to ignore her and remember my friend last night, talking about how our children's lives are too structured. So we're going back to the days in the 70's of being "bored" - hopefully it will spark the imagination! ;)

One basket of clothes/junk has been put away - better than nothing
    • Re-paint the Doll's House and glue on the veranda's that DD1 broke off when she was 2! Didn't get around to that. Had a heated debate with OH whilst holding the paintbrush ready to start. Ran out of time

    • Oh - I might also try and squeeze in a run :oThat one is not even on my RADAR today! Tune in Wednesday evening :D

Well, I started well, but went downhill when I actually had to stand up and do something :p
I've done bits, but am giving myself the afternoon off, I might have a little nap, then do the dreaded ironing this evening watching a DVD.

Hi Milly :hello: thanks for your kind words :)

Yes, my 2 are currently dragging each other around by a scarf tied around the other's neck :rotfl:

I have to say I didn't enjoy the baby stage at all, but now they are a delight and make me laugh all day long (well....most of the time).

    See you soon!
