I've listed ONE book on Amazon :rotfl:

I know - I've sent my congratulations! :T
Well, no sales as yet - but it's early (days). I've just sorted out another Ebay relisting, due to non-payment
I won 10p, 25p and 20p on the scratchies, so decided to play a £1 scratchcard on each site. I was feeling lucky - but won nowt!
Ah well, at least it will keep my accounts open if nothing else.
Might head on over to BB - see if I can salvage anything from sinking ship :rolleyes:0 -

I've just worked out I have £221.45 due to leave my account, which is just minimum payments, mobile and dentist. I also need to find diesel money - at least £60.
Problem is I only have £156 in my account.....
So the race is on to find at least £130  (Hypno's probably thinking "Easy!")
I'm determined not to be overdrawn, so really need to pull my finger out and Ebay like mad this week!!! New venture also needs to be started pronto.
Right off to be industrious - back later!0 -
Well, inspired by you, I have amended my £5k MSE target to £10k, but will be including anything that OH does and contributes to the debt by way of MSE means too - at the end of the day the debt is joint debt, and when we do stuff like ebay/car boots we tend to do them as a joint effort, so it can be a joint (bigger) target.......
I may regret it in due course, but hey, nothing ventured nothing gained :rolleyes:Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
Wow you are very positive in this new year Madam! I've read that thread as well and will sign up but really need to get my head into gear, turning £100 into £10,000 would be fantastic! I nearly bought a bag in the sale to sell on ebay but knowing my luck I wouldn't sell it for much more! Will have to get my thinking cap on.
Hope you manage to find the extra money in your bank account somehow - anything the kids don't want you could ebay, their new toys :rotfl:1st debt - Next [STRIKE]£583.32[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£408.71 [/STRIKE] £0 :j

Well, I will probably regret it too, so don't worry!
However, what I like most about that thread is this:
It's not about making £10 a day or whatever, what he seems to be encouraging is an "Elves and the Shoemaker" kind of thinking. That being, buy one piece of leather, make a pair of shoes. Sell shoes, buy 2 bits of leather, make 2 pairs and sell them, buy 4 bits....etc.
Kind of a snowball of cash! That's what has really sparked my interest0 -

I might be tempted! I'd imagine the window of opportunity for toy selling has gone now thoughWow I am impressed you were able to make your own wedding dress...you most definately need to get crafting!!
Problem now is time Chops. I didn't have 2 ankle-biters then , plus my job was less demanding. Besides, there really is no money in making clothes, though it's something I love to do if only I had the time....
I am creative though, and that is something I am going to utilise this year to get me out of debt!0 -
Had a very busy day:
Finished 2 large baskets of ironing
OH did the tree - so that's in the garden, the Scouts will collect it
Decs on dining room table - awaiting declutter (which may not happen til the weekend now)
Swished round the ceilings and lights with a feather duster - all de-webbed
Every window, picture and mirror has been cleaned and is sparkling!
Calm and daylight have been restored to the living room (Xmas tree so monstrously big, that it blocks the sun )
Cleaned the oven, with bicarb and a paint scraper to glass inside door - sparkling :A
One pan cupboard cleaned out
School uniforms laid out, new PE kit cobbled together and named after DD lost hers on way home before hols
All bags packed and on the launchpad
:j Just sold my first book on Amazon - the cheapest one of course, but £1.20 is better than giving it away (marginally).
Have a good week all, Mac x0
