My Mum was telling me that Morrisons had some carpet cleaners for £60. I mentioned to DH we should buy one and he said "We're buying a house". Hmmmm.

Anyway, I am flagging this evening and haven't done any packing today - though I AM very pleased with the carpets - and the tidy garden :D
I've done some work and sent it off, but might have to do 15 minutes of sorting/packing, just so this evening doesn't go to waste....

Just back from my 6 miles. I REALLY did not want to go this morning, so I am very pleased that I managed to get up and go :j

After refereeing fighting/irish dancing between the girls, I'm going to have a shower, then get on with some jobs in the house I didn't do yesterday.
I did do a basket of ironing before bed last night, but of course there is more to do.

Moneywise I need to book cheap car parking at the airport and sort out travel insurance. Have a good day whatever you are up to :)

Well done on the run - hope the toe is ok!

Am just about to leave for my run.....7 or 8 miles I hope today.....it needs to be as our half marathon is only 3 weeks away :rotfl:

You will be fine as you have many miles under you belt and already ran a marathon. I've never run further than 9 miles! :rotfl:

The toe was a bit sore for the first few miles, but I ignored it. It is throbbing now though :o Thanks for asking :)

I'm going to try and do another 6 tomorrow, as I won't be able to again until Saturday. After that I'll be knuckling down as the Great North Run is in 6 weeks

Don't know about that Taxi :o But thanks anyway! :)

Coffee break. I'd forgotten how quickly boxes pile up and can now see we will be drowning in them very quickly.

I've cleaned the tops of the kitchen cupboards - which doubles as storage in my little galley kitchen. Everything from there is now packed away. As are all the bottles from the top of the fridge.
I didn't realise we had so much! Tequila, Amaretto, Cointreau and all types of Liqueurs - it will be one helluva house warming! Whooohooo!! :j

Also packed a smoked glass decanter (why did I ever buy that???) and 14 champagne flutes - because obviously I sit coiffing that every evening, while I'm watching Big Brother

I've got a couple of bottles Taxi, I'll put them on ice whenever you say the word ;)

So far I had packed about 10 boxes, mainly kitchen things, but also kids outdoor toys, DIY stuff and gathered yet another bag for the charity shop. Luckily they are collecting on Tuesday, as I can't face another trip.

DH has done another tip run, so we are getting there - slowly but surely :D
Well lots done, but now I need to stop decluttering and packing and start tidying and cleaning.

My Sister is coming to stay on Tuesday to look after the girls while we are in Rome, so I need to clean our bedroom for her - a mammoth task :o

Thanks, the guns need reloading.... with cold tuna pasta and a cheeky glass of vino. 6pm does qualify as Cocktail hour on a Sunday night with no school in the morning :j Holiday-ay!!!

Anyway, have just scrubbed the bathroom within an inch of it's life - I even got an old toothbrush out for the taps and shower :A
I de-gunked the shower plughole - which is truly a gross job, I feel a bit queasy after it :(

The kitchen is gleaming, the dining room and living room need a quick spruce and hoover, then I'll run the mop around in the morning.
The girl's room is clean and beds changed. I've actually decluttered much more than I thought over the last few months and weeks, so I'm quite pleased.

Our bedroom needs tidying and the floor cleaning, then I'll change the bedding on Tuesday morning ready for my sister. All in all a productive day.

I'll do a bit more, then I have work to do tonight which I must email off in the morning - I really will be ready for a break! :D
