I've just spent the last half an hour looking for a pair of harem pants I bought 2 years ago (ahead of my time again :p) and I cannot find them.

My dream house would definitely have a huge walk-in dressing room a la Carrie in Sex and The City The Movie (the first one), rows of shoe shelving, oodles of cupboards and drawers that light up when you open them and mirrors that lie on every wall *sigh*

Right, Paul McKenna "I can make you thin" downloaded - off to brainwash myself thin (thanks for the reminder Hypno ;))

Ran 10k after work, it was really hot and felt like I was running in Uggs at times - but I'm so glad I went!.

I listened to Paul McKenna, but was quite disturbed by his voice - a cross between Vincent Price and a dirty old man! :o Anyway, it sent me to sleep, so hopefully the subliminal messages will do their thing.

I bought a Christmas present today and plan to get some more over the next couple of weeks in the sales. I also picked up loads of birthday cards from Paperchase in the sale, which should last me the year - hurrah!

Payday on Friday, so I'l withdraw the cash available for the month and intend to leave my card at home and use cash only. I'm getting my roots done this weekend, have a work trip to Berlin early next month plus my Dad is 65, but other than that, can't see anywhere where my spending might go awry....

    Hope you've had a good day :)

Well done on the run - much too hot to be running at the moment, makes it so much harder doesn't it?

I looked at some harem trousers but they don't look right on me, am off out for a garden party with work tonight so opted for a lovely maxi dress I forgot I had :D

I listened to the Paul Mckenna thing and it always made me go to sleep on the train, wasn't sure if it was supposed to do that?

    have a good day

I've been looking for a maxi dress that isn't floral - I don't really suit them. So far the only one I've seen was £90 , so I've decided it's a sign and I will do without :A

Had a very busy day today, could have done with another few hours at work, but I have got a report to write this weekend, so I'll be in front for Monday.
End of the working week - hurrah! I've defo decided to stick to 4 days for now and see how it goes.

A bit embarrassing today, as it was a collection for someone leaving and I didn't have any money to put in :o:o:o I don't feel that guilty as we don't work closely, but I still felt very tight....

I have a friend coming round this evening and as it's nice I'm going to light the barbie. I have a ton of veggie sausages and spicy bean burgers and, luckily she is veggie so just bought some salad and voila - an MSE dinner for 2! Feels good to be frugal.

Hope all's well with everyone :)

Had a lovely evening sat in the garden, putting the World to rights with my friend. It did us both good I think.

Payday today :j and first day of the new envelope regime.

I'm getting my roots done on Saturday so that will be deducted first, then I'll divide the rest between 4. It will be tight, but very doable.
I also need to factor in my Dad's birthday - 65 - he's not one for fuss or presents, but I'll have to be inventive to keep within budget. The other blot on the landscape is my car service is due, but I'll see if I can push that into next month and try and save some towards it from this.

Ideally today I'd like to nip to the sales and see if I can get some more Christmas pressies, I'll think about that one....

Hope everyone has a good day :)

Happy payday, and good luck with the envelopes - so far it is working for me, so I am sure it will work for you.

Sounds like you had a lovely evening too x
