Thanks and your mere presence has reminded ME that I need to move my behind and get on with the running! I did 2 silly runs in CP - about 20 mins each :o but other than that have done nothing since Manchester. Not good.

I must get back into going regularly, or the GNR will soon creep up on me.....

    Good evening :)

End of the working week for me TG. The visit from the IFA went well and gave us lots of food for thought. I need to go back to our lender then get back to him, but it's all doable so that's encouraging. The house is still on the market, I rang today returning the agent's call. They said they would ring me if there was any other interest, so I'm trying to stay positive.

Poor DH was awake all night last night thinking about everything. I've told him it's really not worth the stress, so we can hang fire until he's happy. He does want to go for it, but the risk element does bother him...... I think it will be fine, nothing ventured nothing gained etc etc

Tonight I need to transfer my Virgin card to Tesco. Tomorrow I'm going to the pound shops to buy bits and pieces for DD1's party bags. I'm trying to be a budget conscious as poss without including all the usual rubbish that gets thrown away a nanosecond after opening!

Right, off for a mosey - hope all's well for anyone reading :)

That sounds positive about the IFA...my DH is pessimistic kind of guy and felt the same way as yours when I was buying here...but after going through things with him in a way he understood he soon settled to the idea..
Hope you find something for the party bags ..the cost soon mounts up on parties...

Yes Taxi, he does vere towards pessimism at times - though he prefers to call it realism. My parents are self employed and are go getters and I suppose risk takers, so I have grown up being quite comfortable with that.
His Dad had a business that went under, so he knows the reality of debt and losing it all. That makes us a good combo - though there are plenty of debates before we actually agree on a plan of action

Still - at least it's never boring! Right off to watch some trash TV.

Glad that the meeting with the IFA went well.

I have been getting things for party bags today must be that time of year. I have the little twins birthday on the 1st July and my little girl's on July 6th so two small tea parties on the actual days and a party with their school friends on the 3rd. We are going to do it at home hoping for good weather! Every party from school has been in the same leisure centre including another one this Saturday 2 hours of torture and I am sick of it so therefore the decision to have it at home and I will hopefully save a bit too. Of course it has to be a mixed spiderman barbie princess party which should be interesting but I am used to that from the big twins so I have three cakes to make in less than a week I will probably buy them for the tea parties!

Well DT, DD1 is a very independent thinker and didn't want one of those parties. We don't have room for a party here (another reason I'm desperate to move :D), so DH had the idea of a party in the park.
There is a lovely park not far from here, so he has bought loads of sports day stuff and we're having a sports day party! He's got little plastic medals and trophies too - he's very clever.
I was a bit sceptical "What if it rains?" But the forecast is good and this morning is glorious :j DD doesn't want a birthday cake either, but wants lots of individual cupcakes, so that each child can take one home. Guess what's in store for me today?! Of course I'm going to go to town and get sparkles and pink and pipe her name on them! :rotfl:

I was going to do all the food, but the nice cafe owner at the park said they will put on food for the kids (and it's all really nice too), which will work out as cheap as doing it myself, so I'm saving myself the hassle.

This morning I've got the cheap window man calling (so I need to figure out what to do about the Tesco card / earning clubcard points vs transferring the Virgin card :wall:
Right got to email off some work to work - have a good day all x
