Thanks Taxi, I feel like I'm going for a job interview - weird. I do need to get a grip, I just hate not knowing :o

Not knowing is awful in any situation.
I was more anxious waiting to see if I had BC than I was when I was told I'd got it....how weird is that..lol?

That really does put me to shame - it's sooooo trivial what I'm anxious about :o:o:o

When I found a lump (not long after I'd stopped breast feeding) I went into complete panic mode, so I can imagine what you are going through. I wish I were as dignified a lady as you are :A

Must go to bed now, night x

Good Morning, lots of jobs to do today in prep for the EA's coming on Thursday.

Today I'm attacking the kid's bedroom - we have lost 2 library books, so I need to find those then take them back. The library is conveniently place next door to the estate agent selling THE house, so I can pop in there and introduce myself.
I did have a bit of a splurge before New York, as my wardrobe looked a bit on the sad side and I needed to look the part - shallow I know, but it does matter in my job (where's the eye rolling smiley - I do miss that!). So focus for this month is severe frugality.

DH has said he can increase his share of the joint pot and said he thinks he will have enough money to pay for the new windows on this place :j
We have decided to wait until/if we move out before doing any works, we need lots of odd jobs doing and repainting which will be much easier when the house is empty.

Have a good day and Have a good month to anyone reading :)

    Mission Accomplished for today!

2 bin bags of rubbish were removed from the girl's room, along with 1 bag for the charity shop - which I even took to the charity shop, so it's out of the house!
Flylady would be proud :A 1 library book found, 1 still to find.

I'm just going to get changed to go for a run with my friend. She has just texted to ask if I'd like to stay on for dinner, it's pouring down - so I'm guessing when I get there - the run will be off!

Oh, almost forgot - I went to the agent and put in the offer :o:o:o

He didn't look horrified and even said that the market is unstable and depending on the vendors onward position, they might accept it.....DH and I have already decided that we won't increase it, as it is fair considering the market.
I told him to tell the vendors to take their time and think about it, as we are not in a rush (they are). I feel ok about it, I'm not getting my hopes up - it's in the lap of the Gods and if it's meant to be and all that.

  • Best of luck with the house - as with all of life, it's much better to be nonchalant about it than worked up into a lather...at least to the outside world!
