If Hamish came on and said that there was a street / area with properties selling at more than peak prices, then someone actually checked the data and proved that this wasn't the case, would you be saying the same thing?0 -

This is a money saving website. Posters come to to this site looking for advice about money. When you make a post the least you can do is "try" and make it factually accurate.0 -
Unfortunately a large number of recent house buyers (or the same saddos with multiple aliases) come on here to confuse and befuddle the truth with made up nonsense and gross distortion and misrepresentation of sanity.borntobefree wrote: »This is a money saving website. Every now and then I get fed up with it.
Does anyone need a link to prove how fed up with it I am, or will this post suffice?0 -

Watching carolt get publically exposed as a delusional liar---- Priceless.
:rotfl:“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.
Belief in myths allows the comfort of opinion without the discomfort of thought.”

She's not a delusional liar. She stated that you could buy a flat on that road for 2003 prices, which is true and false, depending on how you look at it. True in the way that someone has bought one flat recently on that road for 2003 prices, but false in that the stats show that the average price paid for a flat on that road this year is actually back to 2006 prices. I wish I'd never bothered looking at the stats now, I think Carol and I were having a mature conversation about our different opinions and then she started getting slagged off.
You can say anything you like with stats though. As you know only too well Hamish.0 -
