    Morning,

Bitsy I remember behaviour like that so well - it does pass in time believe me. Big hugs for you while you're going through it.

    Bargainbird Thinking about you today

Diva That was a long time to be sat in a boiling hot hospital I hope that they can sort the hernia out for you.

Hester Internal politics & back slapping

Aussie Sounds like you're on a winning streak  Put the lottery on quick :p

Kitchen Bunny I'm getting a bit bored with what we're eating so I'll be looking at the mealplan thread for inspiration too :j

Plans for today are to do some more ironing, tidy the kids rooms, visit MIL in hospital and then DD & I are going through our make up bags & making each other up to see if different looks can be achieved that we maybe haven't though of ourselves :money:

Tea tonight is sausages, mash & beans, lunch is sandwiches, salad & weetabix cake.

Have a good day everyone OS or not.

    Morning all

HH - hugs to you and OH - obviously your OH was too good for the job anyway, view it as their loss not his (I know it's easy to say but keep smiling)

Finally got eldest son's bedroom finished yesterday afternoon, after numerous trips to the tip etc, but now looks fab (wonder how long that will last!) Dinner last night was battered fish, chips and beans for OH, and boys and for me fish in sauce, leftover pots and veg. Don't think I've lost any weight this week, so a bit miffed as I haven't eaten anything naughty just changed some of the things I have eaten, the scales will tell tomorrow no doubt! Dinner tonight is going to be beef casserole, with pots and veg, need to make some more hob nobs - they went down really well! Need to crack on may post again later, have hospital appointment this afternoon with youngest.
Hugs to those that need them.
    Keep safe and well.

Sistercas That's not all. Not by a long shot. :D I forgot to say that I won the party game we played. :p I was given this lovely lime green salad bowl with lid & salad spoon & fork. :p:p:D Plus I won the lucky door and I chose a pickle fork. :p:p:D After winning $55 at Bingo on Monday night, nobody was impressed. :)

I bet everybody loves you :p:D

    Morning all,

Seems a bit colder here today, still not cold enough for the heating though. No washing to do today, :T.

DD is off to town with some mates, so once she has gone I can get on, I have a load of green toms, which will be made into chutney today, I have stuff to list on Ebay. Need to pick more chillis and peppers, which are still ripening this time of year . Will also do a bit more sorting out and packing, and maybe get into the garden for a bit.

Dinner tonight is hm burger and chips, veggie burger for dd.

We went to the charity shop yesterday and picked her haloween costume, she is going as a nerd , so we got a very old fashioned pleated tatran skirt for £2, I was picking up jumpers and shirts to show her, and she said no its ok, I will borrow one of yours  :rotfl:anyhoo got home and she put it all on, including knee high tights, and she looks great:T not bad for £2.

Essex girl, have a great time xx

Bargainbird, hope all goes as well as it can today xx

    Have good days all xx

I've had a low down pain the last few days - friend at work reckon its a groin strain:confused: thought that was a footballers injury. I'll see the doc if it doesn't improve.

    Morning Chums
its a bit misty here this morning I am hoping it will burn off and we may see a bit more sun (ever the optomist me)Tess (DD) and tribe and myself are hoping to go to Chislehurst Caves today.I used to go there years ago when I was in my teens, there were dances held there then.
But its quite an interesting place for the children to visit. Then probably go on to Bromley and maybe visit my sis-in-law. Must go to get a bit of shopping today and phone up the therapist about getting this massage treatment started as well.
I dug out a huge Ham hock from the bottom of my freezer this morning Its going to take all day to defrost. Then I am going to cook it in my SC overnight and make pea & ham soup tomorrow with it, plus I should get quite a bit of ham off it as well.I bought it a couple of months ago for a quid from my local butcher so what ever I make its going to be a bargain.
hope everyone has a great day
    Cheers JackieO x
p.s. my goddaughter Holly's baby is due today as she is having her waters broken, her Mum was my best friend and sadly we lost her to cancer three years ago so I am really hoping this will help my goddaughter feel a bit brighter. She's a lovely lass, and I really feel for her as she was so close to her Mum, so today she must really be feeling a bit down. She has got her sister there to hold her hand as her OH has their other two children to look after.

    hi
Well DS feeling better today.....was woken at 5am by him next to my face saying " Can I have a tuna sandwich"......not what I want to do at that time in the morning start draining stinky fish but never mind:o
Going into town soon to get some slippers as DS has decided after 4 years of refusing to wear them that he wants some. Making a pumpkin lantern with DS later and some halloween cookies:cool:
Got all my washing done yesterday...the sheets etc but today am catching up on the clothes washing I didnt get to do yesterday.
MSD glad your hospital visit is over, it is awful waiting about. I was at neuro OP on Tues for 2 hours for a 30 second chat with the consultant...I was at work so was sat in my uniform with the other patients eying me suspiciously;)
Hester how annoying for you and OH:mad:
sistercas good luck with the trial run....I find Delias dauphinoise pretty foolproof;)
Bitsy I sympathize with you dear:o, after 6 years of 4am/5am starts I feel like I am not even on the same planet as everyone else:o.
Bargainbird thinking of you all today...hugs
Well better go and finish my coffee so we can get into town,,,DS likes to go for drink and snack at M&S cafe and likes to be there before the old ladies get the seats:rotfl:.....last time there was an old dear on the escalator infront of us and DS was saying in a very loud voice " is that one of the old ladies who get the seats in the cafe".:o...bless him.
He usually ends up chatting to the old ladies in there but his conversations can be bizarre.....one of them once asked me if he was from a different country:rotfl:if only she knew how spookily near the truth she was as I guess in a way he must feel like he is from a different planet never mind country:eek:.
Will catch up later.....have good days all
