Gentle thoughts and blessings to Mhags and family inc Haggis dog.
Some pleasures for yesterday,
A sunny, shiny kind of day, washing dried on the line and came in smelling ooohh.
How pleased I am with new, tidy spare room, suits my nature to see everything packed away.
Took my clippers to Tilly spaniel and she now looks....well if not smart at least less hairy.
Was treated to pistachio truffles and a nice bottle of Chablis, he knows me so well.
Finished my book, it can be recycled as won't read again.0 -
1) He Who Knows has just got home from a few days doing DIY for DD1.
2) The sun is shining.....shame it wasn't an hour ago when Cookie and I went for a very wet walkies!
3) Noticed today that there are little bunches of leaves on the elder bushes and on the blackberry bushes on our walk so even if it is still cold damp and miserable mother nature is thinking about spring.
4) A couple of big old houses on the road down to the river have front lawns that are today absolutely covered in those beautiful pale lilac crocuses that come with the flower before the leaves appear, known as 'Naked Ladies' such a lovely sight.
5) Met a lovely rescue greyhound yesterday with her mum and met them again today just as dripping as we were, we both just smiled and knew what the other one of us was thinking!!!0 -
Well as yous lot nose, I took BoPsie out last night for a romantic nose bag and things. She muttered how wonderful her BoP was, on such a romantic day and it was the thirst time we had done so! Well I told her we had done so in 87 when we got the date for our wedding, it was a Saturday. The place was dire and so she had forgotten!
Now not only that, we had been out on this day more than once over the years!
There is no wander I have a broken heart!
Coming tomorrow, BoP explains the real reason as to why he would put educationalists into the same room as the HR types! You are nows baiting with weighted breath!0 -
1) asked the LO for a hug earlier. She's not yet 2 and just starting to speak intelligibly, and replied "hug or cuddle?" then gave me both
2) hadn't eaten or had a drink all day, so treated myself to a super-hot latte and cheese on toast when I came home earlier
3) then ate the other 1/2 of the chocolate bar from yesterday
4) clothes dried outside today for the first time in months
5) now just relaxing with a bookValue-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!
"No man is worth, crawling on the earth"- adapted from Bob Crewe and Bob Gaudio
Hope is not a strategy...A child is for life, not just 18 years....Don't get me started on the NHS, because you won't win...I love chaz-ing!

Mhags, my thoughts are with you and my heart lurched reading your post. I think Bagpuss has worded it so well.
1.A rather rapid wake up after forgetting to set the alarm, I know a semi nice problem to have, so rushed up at 9 to catch putting the bins out.:o
2.Animals literally just so happy when we are about.:p
3. I wrote up the for sale adverts, but haven’t quite got as far as photo’s and adverts yet. Slowpoke.:o
4. DH and I went out to a neighbouring town as DF needs a few things, we ambled around CS’s but empty handed, it was nice to be out we picked up a carrier bags worth of fruit and veg from the market stand there for £4 and picked up all of DF’s bits and bobs in a savers shop.
5. I got chatting to a really nice chap in a wheelchair, I commented as DF is dreadful in navigating with his and has done a lot of damage to the house, whereas his was literally part of him, and he has built up his upper strength.0 -
Mhags, don't post often. Thoughts and prayers that you and your family will get a small crumb of comfort in knowing that people whom you have never met are thinking of you.
Take care.0 -
Mhags, you are all my thoughts and prayers.
& looked up Paseo and it looks like an interesting collective. I used to throw pots and appreciate the skill.
We need rain...someone please send some our way. Though the Aloe is blooming.
* Breakfast out with my love (ham and pepper jack cheese omelette for me!) Then errands and now home.
* Changed the part in my hair to the other side causing DS2 to think I'd been to get my hair done. Grin!!
Simple things....
* The skys may be cloudless but the weather is beautiful. I'm hoping it continues for our trip to Albuquerque this weekend where we will hug and cuddle our own two year old. Isn't this a darling age!!
* Louisiana shrimp boil tonight for dinner. One of our favorites!! Wish I had some crawfish to throw in there.
The day is only half over>>> I'll think of more later. Need a nap first!Overprepare, then go with the flow.
