3) Fresh bedding on the beds, I love the feeling of fresh linen and the smell of it when I go up to bed.

3) Parents and brother in Cornwall so let brother's dog out twice this evening.
4) Checked hens and all OK. Barbara moulting well.
5) Sons home and we popped out to get the bits for the cottage pie that smaller son will make at school tomorrow.

* A successful stir fry using steamed mystery fish, onions, celery, carrots, radish leaves and various seasonings/sauces hurled in. Finished with thawed rice from the freezer and stirred it madly. My guys gave thumbs up. Cake was finished.
* Three naps...count em...three. Woke up to awful sinus headache so I took benedryl and it knocked me out. I'm feeling much better tonight.
* We finished the storage closet and I keep going in there to look. It's a thing of organized beauty.
* The floor guy came and measured!! :j Measuring took him 10 minutes. It took me three weeks to get him here. (Kept calling every week...squeaky wheel and all)
* About to finish season 2 of Ripper Street.
* I'm so impressed with the storage closet result that I am now eyeing the linen closet. Not sure if the euphoria will take me there or not.Overprepare, then go with the flow.

Hello , it's 6.30 pm and still daylight
Had a productive day. It's been a pleasant day , mild and gentle breeze.
Wrote a list and ticked it all off apart from take the bag of stuff to salvos, by the time I'd realised it was closed.
Made a very tasty steak pie , with roasted potatoes, parsnips, carrots and pumpkin. Cabbage and sprouts. Also made a pear crumble for the sugary people.
My peas are starting to shoot through soil. Planted pumpkin seeds.
Haggis got a bone ( biscuit) from the postie, he was woofing rather loudly at him when we were out in the front garden. Picked some rather pretty flowers. Wore my new wellies
Have offered to do advent treats for my great niece so need to get my thinking cap on for ideas that don't cost a fortune and can be ordered online or sent cheaply from here.
Got 20% off my M&S order and free delivery.
Have a great Tuesday0 -
