Day off number one
Had to take DD2 to an appointment first thing in a town I've never driven to but we made it there in plenty of time.
Home from that and a day of not too much exertion!
A bit of pottering around, a bit of reading, a bit of snoozing , a bit of doggy cuddles and a bit of chatting with my children
Dinner came out the freezer
Have a good Tuesday0 -

Have a great day allI wanna be in the room where it happens0 -
1. Spending time with my darling Mum, so blessed to have her in my life.
2. The view from my kitchen sink where I can watch all the birds eating from the feeders and table, queuing up for their turn, squabbling if one takes too long, even a male pheasant in resplendent plumage tidying up what the others leave.
3. More birds, the heron that fishes every day along the dyke by the yard, stillness and patience.
4. Eating out two days running, not very OS maybe but tasty, apart from the board that today's was served on....WHY, what's wrong with plates!!
5. Lynn's beautiful, descriptive post about the rainbow she saw from the train, was there with you for a minute MrsLW, gorgeous x

Dad watchers!
http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b06pwtxl/midlands-today-24112015
If you pause it at 21:17, Dad is the man in the bright green market coat (he works there) and a flat cap, right in the middle of the shot. He's the tallest one and stooping forward oddly!
At 21.42, you can see him again (green fleece) and there's a thinner, tall figure to his right in a brown coat and a dark blue hat - that's my brother! Brother is holding his gloves (?) behind his back.
If anyone's ever wondered what I sound like, I fear it is similar to dad's boss, Nick Champion, who is interviewed...
Anyway, pleasures for today!
1) Not a bad sleep,
2) Home from work by 9.30. This was nice and pleased the cat. However, it was just temporary while I had a shower and put fresh trousers, socks and shoes on. My young man this morning was extremely unwell and a poor aim.........
3) Arrived back half way through second lesson (same class, pretty much) and nearly got a standing ovation!
4) Went to see my friend from school after work.
5) A lady phoned me about a potential dog. :-)
6) Enjoyed I'm a Celebrity.
7) In bed now with 1 hwb.0 -
Happy holidays BOP:beer:
A couple for yesterday...
1. Another injection closer to completing the course.
2. Made various phone calls about DF and when I got through to someone exceptionally helpful it was nice, I even got an appointment for today I went in and registered bits credit where credits due, so far it’s been ok. It’s amazing how long bits and pieces take. About 200 pages filled out and now various appointments to register documents.:o
3. I properly tidied out half of the greenhouse in the time I had left of daylight, aiming to get the other half done tomorrow.:p
For today.
1. Porridge for brekkie, my way is made with milk.:)
2. Remainder of the greenhouse tidied up that was the badly untidy bit and pots put into the greenhouse from the front garden, but it feels like I have achieved something.:D
3. Hotdog for lunch, not normally my cup of tea but the Costco ones are nice, and dinner will be new pots, cabbage and pie.:)
4. Applied for roles as they came up, and one of them looks great and the phone just rang while typing this to say the location is not even remotely commutable. Keeping positive.:cool:0
