Thankful for good wishes...all gratefully received!

Not a good sleep, very disturbed , horrid dreams so just got up early.

Phoned best friend back home and spoke to her . It's good to talk.

Had a nice dog walk with Mr Haggis, it had absolutely poured all night so with the sun out this morning everything was sparkling.

Dropped DD1 at uni , she was delighted to get a lift. Then off to scanner place. Much nearer where we live than having to go into the city. I waited about 3.5 hours whilst OH was being cared for and then we had to wait for scans . I may or may not have have had 40 winks! Watched our new prime minister being sworn in.....our 4th PM since we moved here in 2010.

We went for some food afterwards, OH had been fasted since midnight and this was now 3.30pm ish. I had some nice chicken involtini, I love all the veggies that come with it.

Then supermarket, bought some rtc flowers and rtc lavender and an rtc viola .

Home at last, lovely welcome from the dog. Planted up my new plants.

We have a very early start tomorrow . We were called by one of the doctors this afternoon, this hasn't happened before so we are not expecting good news. I go between numb to distraught and trying to keep a bright face on for kids until we know what's going on. Anyway, what's for us will not go by us .

    Have a good Tuesday xxx

Yet again, I see my non-stick Thanks floating off various posts. They are nailed in, promise.

mhags, about an hour and a half trying to wind the rubberbands here this morning, but had to persist and find any news from you.

    And now I'm stuck.

It feels indulgent to say I'll be stopping somewhere, thinking of all you have told us - and will tell us, whatever that is.

It's all I can do and I'll do it anyway, with long-established pigheaded &ness.

Again, all love and prayer flies to you all now.

  • McHags: I will be keeping an eye on this thread, feeling so much for all over the other side of the pond..

While pleasures don’t quite seem appropriate they may distract.
    1. A freezer full of pies and hm crumbles, we could feed a few for a fair while, I feel positively stocked for winter, with free and cheap things.:o
    2. Remembered to take my certified power of attorney thing into work to make a high quality copy, after the solicitors lost the original this is it, it’s the only certified copy and I am about to send it off.
    3. I’ve got my want to cook back, it’s been awol for a few months now, I think I am an autumn person stews, crumbles etc, saying that thou it’s pasta bake tonight:D.
