Welcome Bubblesmum. Good job finding 5 after a trying day.
Still here &, I don't know where the time goes. Unlike you always on the go, my busy times come in fits and starts.
1. The white lilac has been festooned with blue lights, it'll look lovely when it blooms
2. Going back to my dressmaking days, I've restyled a dress and a top which are now put away as part of my holiday wardrobe and am starting on a cardigan this evening. It's many years since I made most of the clothes for the children and myself, I'm quite enjoying reviving a craft I can do well.
3. Detox week is going well, although I did struggle to refuse a hm biscuit from the girl next door. She makes yummy shortbread rounds with a sugary top drizzled with lemon icing, so saying no was very hard!
4. £8 went into my paypal account yesterday for doing two surveys.
5. I was in the local pharmacy on Saturday when the town's two little Princesses came in with baskets of chocolates for the staff and customers. What a lovely thing to do! It's little surprises like this that make this lovely little town a pleasure to live in, What made it even more special was the pleasure it gave not only the public but the pharmacist, who was bowled over by the gesture and sang and virtually danced back to his desk at the back of the shop, he had everyone laughing. The girls brightened up what would otherwise have been an uneventful morning. It wasn't quite the royalty Frith's son saw but just as exciting!
6. The weather. I love the warmth of the sun, I like many others feel I'm coming alive after a long hibernation. Everything, and almost everybody, seems so much brighter. Hoping it lasts
Enjoy the rest of the evening0 -
1. Phoned sky yesterday and managed to get discount on phone/broadband which made it cheaper by 5p than cheapest I had found.
2. Lovely weather - sun out and warm and just about to spend time in the garden. Washing dried on line and I put two loads out.
3. Virtually no traffic on road on way to work or on way home and managed to leave 10 minutes early and got home at normal time after filling car up with petrol and collecting my painkillers from the doctors.
4. DS1 posting a parcel for me and saves a trip to the post office.
5. Scrambled eggs for breakfast from my hens.0 -

Ampersand have been meaning to post but every time I start someone disturbs me. Love that Sparrer had to buy some IC shoes, I haven't bought any for a while but did give a pair an airing for friends wedding.
Some random pleasures
1. Even though seems like a very distant memory we had a fab family holiday in Rome last month. I loved all the history of the place and just loved walking around all the amazing sites.
2. Celebrated being with OH for 23 years, still not married but it works for us. Was treated to lovely bunch of big fat white roses, my favourite flowers, breakfast in bed and dinner out.
3. Work is still so busy but feel more confident in the role now and have some really positive feedback recently which helps.
4. Getting back in touch with some very old friends thanks to book of face. Meeting up with some at the end of the month on my trip oop north.
5. Found out that I can claim all of my work travel expenses now I work in Ops as classed as mobile even though I am usually in the same office most days. Will save me about £80 per month so was very pleased with that.
6. Since changed jobs have not been doing any exercise so have signed up to do the Sunwalk (13.1 miles) with DD. New trainers bought so just need to get out walking now, aim to start at the weekend.
7. Seeing a friend get married and just looking so happy. She has had long term relationships before but never been married and for her it was a big deal. So seeing her finally have her dream wedding to the person that is so right for her was amazing. Plus I got to air my IR shoes. DD came to the wedding with me as she knew a lot of the guests as well, it is hard watching a young man trying to chat up your DD. I know she is 19 but oh I didn't enjoy watching someone lusting after her
Hope everyone is keeping well and enjoying the sunshine. Will try to post more often as I know it is good for me.0
