1. Sunshine
2. DD went to a massive paddling pool party at her best friend's house. Boy was she hyper when I went to pick her up.....!! Anyway, 3 hours of fun and splashing about sounds blooming good to me
3. My lovely teacher and mentor have emailed me my final (sob) report to go to uni this week. I nearly cried! The marks they've given me are awesome and I don't feel I deserve them, and the comments are so lovely, and true - about how much I love being in the class and other stuff.
4. I got some bits together for my transition day on Thursday (but have broken my paper trimmer, oops....think I will quietly replace it without letting anyone know, if I can, as it was a Christmas present)
5. My mother cooked a scrumptious dinner from the latest 'miracle' and medical-related diet that she's decided I should go on very soon........(to be honest, it does sound like I have the issue that the diet is supposed to help with, carb-crazed, PCOS, child of a type 1 diabetic, metabolism issues etc etc. Here's hoping it's liveable with and I lose a ton of weight!)
6. I'm hoping to locate a fab Fred&Ginger dvd that is somewhere in my study to while away the evening with. I borrowed it from school and must remember to take it back!! It has the rollerskating/dance scene in it
And another one!
7. I just found an awesome superhero alphabet font which I've cut and pasted letters out of to make up a "learning powers" title to go with a motivational display I'm planning for September0 -
Had one of those tiring but satisfying days.
DH did some DIY. Wow! Don't get too excited it wasn't much but helped me enormously. I wish he'd do a bit each weekend and saver towers would me much more comfortable. (Must try and get him motivated).
DH cleaned the bathroom. Not without moaning but hey ho, he cleaned it..
Shopping with DD. She spent quite a bit, but was happy with all thoughtful purchases which will help keep her occupied over the hols.
DD did some chores for a few pence, including putting out the rubbish.
Sunny days and lots of flowers at the moment. Tomatoes are coming on a treat.

4) School friend came bearing 2nd birthday tea and presents.
5) Made a sponge cake.
6) Going to listen to the Archers in bed just now.0 -
Thank you again for all your kind words, and & for the W. H. Davies poem. I read it through twice this morning and have just done so again, there is certainly a lesson to be learned there.
DD I hope you get to see Valetta, I was there in November and although it had changed since our previous visits several years ago it's still full of history. And pizza restaurants. Enjoy.
1. After reading the above I did my rounds of the garden (twice, it's only a little garden) and watched my soppy dog and DNeighbour's silly cat playing together. They pretend to be stand-offish with each other but when no-one is looking they touch noses and rub against each other, then wander around the garden together. I do believe they think they're two of a kind, both being black and white
2. Played regatta's with the laundry, it went out, in, out and in again, at which point I gave in to the rain. Ah well, I expect the exercise was good for me :undecided
3. Not very OS (but did my best to be cautious) when spending some £'s on new items for my bedroom. It's time for the red and gold Chinese look to go (son-in-law says it looks like a Chinese brothel. We wonder how he knows... ) and fresh green and white to come in. I'm trying to justify the spend by telling myself it hasn't been decorated for 10+ years
4. A friend suggest hair putty to keep my locks in place as I find hairspray very drying, so bought the one she recommended in Mr S. All I can say is thank goodness none of you know me on facebook, I took photo's of the end result and put them on there. Admittedly I used somewhat too much but one looked the the late lovely Rik Mayall, another as though I stuck my fingers in an electric socket. I won't even begin to tell you some of the comments, suffice to say it gave my friends some free entertainment at my expense this evening :rotfl:
5. Getting great pleasure from the forums, reading everyone's posts which give me something to focus on. Helps me feel refreshed and ready to face the world again tomorrow - well the mways anyway, so thank you.
Sweet dreams0 -
1. Managed to do more in the garden - just clearing years worth of rubbish - the amount of broken glass, barbed wire and old tiles amongst other assorted stuff.
2. Sitting in sun with a coffee.
3. Chatting with DS1 he is often fairly reserved.
4. DH arriving home after being away for a couple of days.
5. Ate some home grown strawberries.0 -

5 Snorkers, SpagYetti, mushrooms, Toast, Bacon, Scrambled Egg. Washed down with tea, and toast, jam.
4 Delighted to be on the cover yesterday, so another invoice on the way.
3 Look, YELLOW! And that means more beans

Quick hello, I've not read back but will hopefully get a chance on Wednesday, hope all is well:)
Long flight as it always is but we got here, best friend met us at airport and brought us home.
Have been to church, have met so many people I know already which has been lovely.
Squeezed my gorgeous great niece , been down my woods, been to my river and had a fabulous tuna croissant this morning, as good as I remembered it to be!
Been around the local charity shops this morning and grabbed a few bargains.
On the bus on and off today using a day trip ticket which saved us money.
Missing the internet! As it's my way of communicating with back home it's hard when we don't have it!
Catch up when I can x0 -

3. Probably frittered the day away somewhat.
4. Tidied myself up to look vaguely less scruffy and packed the cats in the car to the MIL’s a bit let down there, it’s a very long journey for DH and I both way for us.:(
5. Posting this up now as about to do no 4 which means we will be late.:cool:0
