Oh, THAT Bangor song - yes, remember, yes, like.
Now giving Steeleye Span a whirl - wow! for Gaudete. Yes, of course I remember them, too.
Frith - pk will love those first pic yawns. I'd thought YOU thought you hadn't caught Matilda in time. All good.
dfv - re: wearer of that Peter Pan collar, have twice this afternoon obliterated voice on The Wireless. It's the old oxygen of publicity; choke hers off.
Toxic chienne over the road at her dysfunctional spewery again.
Final de-jungling work out front succeeded by an over-all mow. & added on both neighbours to right and was happily cogitating while so doing, an excellent mowing accompaniment. DX truck arrived, with flatpack bunny house for neighbour. & was amazed to see the chaps doing it on the run. Prob. took 2 mins, but they smiled as they went in and out with the sections. To &'s astonishment, Chienne came out with camera and proceeded to abuse men and take pics. They ignored her.
& went in and told neighbour, both of us astounded. & went out and said in clear voice she was happy to be overheard, if they needed independent name/contact to counteract any nonsense from ' a known trouble-maker'.
Both men were cheery, decent types, didn't know what her problem was.
Something made me note Co. phone no. and I decided to ring. Long hold, but I am so, so, so, so glad I did.
Spoke first to Receptionist, then to Traffic Manager, both of whom were mighty pleased by my call and excessively grateful, wishing other people would do same.
Chienne had already done so, accused them of swearing at her and threatening to throw bits of packing wood at her.
COMPLETE AND UTTER LIES AND GARBAGE, and I am firm and ready to make any sort of statement to that effect.
Traffic Manager said there will be absolutely no action against the chaps, nor any reply. I suggested a stiff, heavy threat of litigation would be A Good Idea.
I'm just glad I was outside when I was.
1, RAFAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!
2. Jo-Wilfried!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:-)
3. Rafa's i/v post-match, dispatching the silly 'Revenge'? as it deserved and being beautifully The Gentleman with it.
4. Lots of fresh mown bedding appreciated by neighbour's bunnies.
5. Picked a dish of strawbs and ate them, after lovely rtc honey/soy sauce marinated salmon and h-g salad. Peppermint tea and book await, as Wimbo Wireless relates Federer in Exhibition Match form, under his fave closed roof.

Bonne nuit.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY FRITH AND CCP XX
1. A much better day - hooray
2. One of the cuties gave me a loom band bracelet
3. I've chased DD's missing loom bands, ordered about a fortnight ago. Poor cherub, this is the first big craze she wants to join in on and her parcel is lost in the post....but at least I've remembered to send a chasing email and hopefully will get it sorted.
4. Had the afternoon off to do lots of printing and lazing about at school! New EYFS children came to visit, so me and teacher split up the day - woohoo! I've not had a free lesson in ages(Not that I mind at all, I love being there, don't want next Wednesday to come too soon
)
5. Went to Co$$tco after school and found sporty t shirts and shorts for the more Rubenesque galGreat prices too!
6. Also bought the world's biggest (well, possibly) lovely shampoo and conditioner for about the cost of my usual bottle of shampoo!
7. Sunshine
8. Cuddled one of my class' little brothers, 7 months old and a real charmer0 -

Quick pleasures for today:
1) Sons to school with no fuss.
2) Made a few phone calls/wrote a few emails to work out what to do re the ex-husband's living situation. No one has got back to me yet!
3) Had a tidy up and did some washing.
4) Took my new frame and netting to the allotment to keep the caterpillars off the broccoli. A RAT on the path outside the shed. The only animal I really can't stand! Luckily it was dead and Fred got it on a trowel and flicked it away over the fence for me. Took some lettuces and radishes and ate the raspberries whilst still there.
5) Paid some money into my ISA and now have enough to pay the man for my new bathroom (coming October). Haven't enough yet to pay for the suite!
6) Tasty tea. Made a big shepherds pie with all sorts of veg in and had that with garlic bread. Brother's strawberries for pudding.
7) Successful spider extermination mission (one down the side of bigger son's bed) using bigger son, a magazine and a vacuum cleaner.
8) Going to bed now to watch Holby. Really enjoyed last week's episode set on the coast.0 -

Hurrah for holiday day finally arriving, we will set off in a few hours and I'm not sure when I will get to post as staying with my MIL who does not have internet! ( yikes! How will I manage?)
Today has been a bit of a rush around one in the morning and a more relaxed afternoon.
Nice chat with friend who is picking us up on Saturday .
Had to take DD to get blood taken.....wee soul, had to be fasted and was absolutely starving afterwards , she always has a breakfast. Bloods took longer than they should have done, so we nipped into a nearby bakery for cake !
Dropped off at school and then dashed off to salon for holiday waxing! Ow!
They were running a bit late so I could've taken my time !
Then dash into next town to claim back some money from appointment yesterday, we have to pay up front , government pays some things back ( called Medicare) and usually it is done directly at point of payment but for some reason it wasn't yesterday so I had to go into town to actual Medicare office. We will then have to claim back the rest from our medical insurers.
Then dash back home and went to F&V shop so my family won't starve whilst I'm away.
Wrote letters to my remaining here family
Finished packing, had a bath, need to paint my toenails and I should be good to go!
So I will see you in the UK at some point! Have a fabulous Friday and PK have a great last day!0 -
Have a fantastic No Regrets last day, pk, but a glorious 'This is it. We're on our way' 1st day, mhags.

Ampersand: Thank you, no regrets. Don’t tell them I said this but no such thing as “glam” ferrets just the constant echo of “do you hunt them”, but they are part of the quirky family.
Kittikins: I also caved to the litre of shampoo and conditioner at a great price from there.
McHags: Safe and wonderful journeying, shock oh no no internet, we are no where near quite ready and supposed to be off Monday
1. LAST DAY, :j:beer::jtime sheets all approved, invoice all sent off, it’s not really sunk in yet as a bit shattered but he he.:j:j
2. The ferrets are a bit listless from the injection yesterday, bless them it will take a day or two to feel better, we get them done as they have free reign in the garden and we walk them about so have to protect against distemper.
3. Made macaroni cheese for dinner
4. Beautiful weather so means will need to water the garden this evening and wait till later to get in the greenhouse.
5. Fighting the urge to go shopping having cleared down the fridge and freezer for hols. He he did I mention it was my last day…:):):):)0 -
