    Evening everyone :hello:

Day from hell. I have a new child who is upsetting the (not very good) equilibrium of the class. I had a meltdown... :( Roll on half term!

    Pleasures:

    1) Arranged to see my oldest friend this weekend. REALLY looking forward to seeing her. DH is also being dragged along - he's looking forward to seeing her too, but is not looking forward to sitting silently for a few hours! ;)

    2) Yellow sticker breaded haddock for supper. Lovely!

    3) DH has done the ironing! :j :j

    4) Another £14.84 payable on TopCashback! :j :j

    5) Bed time! Night all x

    Pleasures for today:

    1) Not a bad sleep.

    2) Smaller son still not better but not as bad as yesterday!

    3) Went to the allotment to do some watering and picked some radishes.

    4) Bigger son played on the laptop and I cleaned all the kitchen - shelves, microwave, everything.

    5) Watched a steam train pulling in as we collected bigger son from school.

    6) Trip to smaller son's GP (keeping up the seeing him every week or so arrangement). We're both quite sad we won't see him again after the operation!

    7) Curry for tea then apple and blackberry pie.

    8) Watched Toy Story 3.

KK I love the idea of all your class singing lullabies to try and make their teacher sleep.
Vicky: I hope your new one finds his “place” soon.
Firth: Your pleasures read wonderfully I like deep cleaning followed by Toy Storey 3.
This will make you laugh I downloaded a free kindle book a while back about de cluttering its affects and how to in short one way is a short blaze through it and the other is to think of it, so when I got in from pilates I took a little pile of clothes determined to “blaze” through it and failed.:rotfl:Classic.
    1.Work done for a day.
2.Simple spag bol for tea before heading out to
3.Pliates was good was told we all seem a bit more flexible then when we started.:D
I think 3 will do for now, I’m a tad bit worried about my father, he got okish again but has deteriorated rapidly again. Emotional roller coasterish

It's Thursday ,it's my last day at work for the week and I will be heading out soon ! Yay!

A few pleasures from past couple of days :

    Strangely warm windy weather .

Stunning colours, each day they just get a bit more lovely.

Soup for tea last night, worky leftovers for tea the night before.....everyone had something different :) but all free :)

Did my online shop for delivery this evening, free delivery and still $100 less than what I was spending in shop! Still need fruit and veg but will divide my custom between 2 shops tomorrow :)

Just had big hugs with my DD2 as it's a year today since her young friend died. Poor wee thing sobbing all over me. Being thankful for healthy children and glad they all still accept a hug!

Night night...I'm off to start the day :)

    So for yesterday
    1) meeting i was dreading was ok. Before i could say anything she said 'senior management need to get their message straight. We can grow the business but not without resources. If they dont want to provide the resource i'll stop trying' which i think is the sentiment right across HE at the mo.
    2) next meeting - 2 more strong leads for more business and a lead on another project i've had in mind for a couple of years (but see 1)
    3) boarding pass with right name arrived
    4) colleague burnt his toast which set the fire alarm off. The good bit? Glorious sunshine
    5) gbf came round to walk the dogs and take more piccies for his 'portfolio' my dogs were not good models!
So now it's thursday and off to krakow. Will try not to put on the weight i've lost in the last 4 weeks! Have a good week everyone x

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker I've been Money Tipped!
    Mine for yesterday:

    1) The repairs I had done to my car last week seem to have worked, so it no longer squeaks like a starving rodent when I reverse.

    2) Went to what I thought was a techy-type meeting, the only person from my department there, and found that most of the other attendees were very senior and it was actually the type of policy-setting meeting I wouldn't usually be invited to. I got through it without embarrassing myself, or (perhaps more importantly) committing the department to anything that would get me lynched by my manager! :rotfl:

    3) Felt slightly brighter in the afternoon - it can't be the tablets (anti-depressants don't work that quickly), so I'm happy to accept it as just one of those things.

    4) Essay all finished - actually 80 words too finished. I'll have to do some editing!

    5) Made a pasta bake for dinner. It's not the most complicated recipe, but it's still more cooking than I've had the enthusiasm to do for some weeks.

PK - sorry to hear about your father - fingers crossed he gets better again quickly.

VickyA - hugs. Not much longer now, I think? (I don't tend to know when school holidays are, so I'm guessing a bit!)
Back after a very long break!

'Tis Thursday evening ,it's dark o'clock and I've just had my dinner courtesy of work!

Glad my shifts are over for a couple of days...time to catch my breath....and maybe just maybe not rush around like a daft thing!

My colleague who took her own life's mum came in this afternoon, I was able to spend about 20 minutes with her and we sat and chatted and cried and held hands and hugged . My other colleague stayed on to let me sit and chat as we had other customers . I thanked her for that but she just said she was glad I was there as she wouldn't know what to say. There are no words that can make any sense of what's happened. But I wanted to share with her mum how much we had loved and liked her daughter in that short time and that she should be proud of her daughter.

By this time I was totally behind my mad dash busy schedule at the end of day so I told myself .....go for the next train and took the pressure off myself!

Took the next train and sat and chatted with the lady who works in the shop along from ours , so that was nice.

Online shop had been delivered and put away! :) such joy!

Just phoned my mum who sounded rather bright and cheery, all treatments are finished thank goodness.

Do have a lovely day ,dd have a lovely trip to Poland.
