    Congratulations mhags :T
Agree with everything you've all said and I'm not looking for a permanent man in my life, no-one can hold a candle to the late beloved P, but the occasional trip/meal out would be nice - just not on a Sunday :p
KK well done on the car boot, I need do one soon as I can't get into the small bedroom any more. Totally agree with ampersand, not only did you make money but you weren't at the shops spending it
CCP please don't stop showing your flowers, it brightens up the page :)

    1. Bought my eggs from the lady along the road as usual, also bought a rhubarb plant for 30p to replace the one I got from a garden centre which rotted. The plant, Frith, not the garden centre :D
    2. Usual Sunday lunch out, two friends came in just as we were about to leave so we stopped and had a cuppa with them. When we left he showed us his new car, I had a little smile to myself when I found out it's a shiny silver-grey OGV.
    3. Friend and I have decided to go to Malta for a few days at the beginning of November so will be booking that in the morning
    4. At risk of repeating myself. the weather ;). And the saving in heating, lighting and food!
    5. Back to back Mrs Brown's Boys on the box this evening.

    Sweet dreams :)

eta Frith my thoughts and prayers include the baby tonight

Perhaps it's the weather. Dd2 posted a complaint on fb 4 hours ago about noisy neighbour playing music. I was woken early by a terrific thunderstorm. Even God is playing his music too loud!

    3. out Sat evening to see a band with the girls. Cheap night tix were £5 and drinks were cheap. Friend drove and so we all bought her a drink from each of us instead of petrol money. Even managed a couple of [STRIKE]hobbles[/STRIKE] dances :p

was too hot for a roast yesterday tbh I felt a bit roasted myself with the oven on, but it was delish.

Today its meant to be about 34 degrees ....

Hello, Monday tea time and need to think about making some tea!

Have just watched Casualty, so that made me happy...best bit is the theme tune:)

Work was crazy from the start but hey! Only 2 more shifts to go! Looking forward to leaving all the 'office' politics behind! She does this, he did that, they got more hours than me, blah, blah ,blah!

Nice fresh air today when I ventured outside.

    Nice drive home!

Nice piece of rocky road bought at chocolate factory yesterday.

That's my pleasures, have a lovey Monday

    Another hot day today

    1. Going outside to have lunch - it was much, much cooler than my room at work.

    2. Taking my lunch to work.

    3. Meeting an old friend in the car park and had a chat.

    4. Lovely walk at 5.30 this morning with my dog - it was so peaceful.

    5. DS1 and DS2 finishing the list of jobs that I gave them to do.

    Evening all.

I didn't sleep well last night after all that fuss, so I'm feeling rather dozy and lacking in concentration to type this:

    1) Working close enough to home that I could pop home for a cardigan at lunchtime as I was feeling rather chilly.

    2) More IPC athletics when I got home.

    3) Made a spicy seafood stew for dinner, which was .

    4) Blissful quiet from upstairs, although I know at least one of the couple is at home as all the windows are open.

    5) I've now got two aubergines on my plant, and they're growing at an impressive rate. :)
Back after a very long break!

    Good evening all !

Phhheeewww ! Sweating like a Butterball Turkey ( BoP do you remember these in the '70's ??)

Skintos - it sounds like you had a lovely time on your girlie night out .

Village- I take the terrier out at 7 ish when I am not at work . I love that time of day, always have .

mhagster - hhhhhmmm Rocky Road :D Too sticky for that though. Two days left eh ? Bet you can't wait.

    5 for today

    1. I feel a bit "shoes in fridge" today:o I hope it is just the weather . Colleague at work noticed it . I was a bit odd apparently (can you imagine that !!!:rotfl:).

    2. Work ok except manager sprung a meeting on me without notice with lots of other managers last thing today adding an extra hour on to my shoes in fridge day and a long car drive. Not happy about that.Told him too.

3.Took terrier in the park at 6pm

    4. Pasta and garlic bread slices for tea.

    5. Finally sitting down with feet up on sofa.

Not a pleasure - OH's new employers are pi**ing him about over just about everything including commission . He is on the phone to his manager now... he may not return tomorrow if it goes pear shaped. Small claims court beckons me thinks..

Have a good evening all !

  • Braticus Primera will be called Victoria.

At the same time, others will not be so fortunate.

Resign, Resign, Resign, not handed it in yet. Bit unusual to hath pleasures being away.

    Hugs to all.
