    Good morning all

VJsmum - I have no idea . It seemed to be on a sort of retail park . Made me laugh though , as we travel for a few hours up the motorway and it amazes me that accents can be so different .OH said I did my "Pitkins" voice . Remember that BoP? aka OLAF :D

Have a good day all !

My five for the past couple of days,

    1. Lovely sunny weather.

    2. Walking with DH and DS1 and my dog on Monday evening and saw gorgeous sunset and good conversation.

    3. Salads for tea which I love and others not too keen on but no complaints so far.

    4. Eating my HG strawberries.

    5. DS1 applying for more jobs. I am reading his covering letters which are very good and pertinent to the job.

    1. I forgot to bring the washing in last night - and it is still dry :)

    2. The sound of cooing pigeons.

    3. The look of delight on a 2 year old's face when she realised it was jelly for pudding.

    4. Cooking a pasta bake in the Remoska.

    5. Knowing it will be sunny tomorrow :j

    Hello...just on briefly ,internetty problems!

Well I had an interview this afternoon....not too sure how it went, very informal ...place is a building site at the moment! She has other people to see but I think I would like it there so keep your fingers and toes crossed for me, will hear at start of next week.

Work was work! However....5 shifts to go and next 3 are stressy little man free so that's a bonus!

The most stunning sunrise this morning.

The sound of blackbirds singing whilst I was getting ready this morning. It's such a sound of home for me and I do love Mr and Mrs Blackbird.

Just had a lovely dinner of left over lasagne and salad and a tiny baked potato ...tasted even better than last night.

Nice birds at the riverbank on walk back to car this afternoon...some kind of waders . A flock of ibis overhead this morning and cockatoos getting ready to fly this morning. I will miss my birdies!

Bye for now have a lovely day :)

    3. Uncle now in rehab, may be home sooner than thought:-)

    4. ems to someone who needs them.

    5. nsd/npd. Will have to visit conurbation at some point soon.

    6. Strawb tulle, job now done, tfrd to bean flowers - very necessary.

    7. x needing Monday to be over.

    8. The night beetles humming in the elderberry last night, in the oak the night before. I love this sound. D, on skype, remembered it too, from our NZ childhood.

    9. The Wireless On - cricket today, 2nd Test tmrw.

lfs - thinking strongly of you and praying for good outcome.

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker I've been Money Tipped!
    Evening all.

I've been back at work today and am feeling decidedly grumpy after dealing with some seriously daft questions: my favourite (if you can call it that) was a gentleman who emailed me to ask how to fill in a particular form, then emailed again five minutes later to say that, now he'd looked, it was obvious. Why not look first?! :wall:

    Anyway:

    1) NSD.

    2) Actually almost the opposite of a spend day, as I paid £70 into my depleted bank account and returned the knicker-flashing skirt for a refund. (Chicken - it was a really nice skirt, but perhaps a touch too revealing for use in the office! ;))

    3) Turned some past-their-best mangetout into pesto sauce, which makes me feel very slightly better after discovering that a block of nice, expensive French cheese that I had left in the fridge had turned to slime. :(

    4) Picked some more blackcurrants - I've now got enough for a very small bowlful with ice cream. :j

    5) Discovering that an MSEr on another thread attended the same event that I did over the weekend. :D
Back after a very long break!
  • Know that job BoP went for a couple of weeks or so back. Offer is on the table.

F good beer mat at the moment.

POETS Day the morrow. So pleasures of treasures coming soon.

I think Sky have done the final nail in their coffin, I came home today to a letter saying £2 price increase. I tried it for a month without and have to admit I missed it, I like the EPG and what have you, but I can’t justify it anymore I am going to leave, I err think!?

1.I bought a 2nd hand book on British wild flowers for pennies plus p&p off Amazon it’s arrived today and it’s literally brand new
    2.Work out of the way
3.A very very promising work enquiry off somewhere I have worked before a good few years ago, putting together my application later tonight
4.Off to Mr T bargain hunting, but mainly as out of tea, milk, eggs and bread.
5.Came home to find DH had jet washed both cars, the caravan moved them all out onto the road and jetwashed off the driveway – I dunno the things he will do to keep that tan topped up.
