Bloomin' Ada, PK! Hope you are feeling much better now and get some answers tomorrow.

Here are my 5 or so for today.

    1) Boys off to school quite happily.

    2) Went to Ludlow with my brother and went round the charity shops. Nothing for me but he found a nice jumper.

    3) Got smaller son from school at 12 and did a Sainsburys run.

    4) Popped in to see my brother later as I got him some Basics jeans from Sainsburys. £6! He couldn't get any to fit from the charity shops as his inside leg measurement is 36 inches.

    5) Asparagus for tea.

    6) Emails from OH. :-)

look at the time and the day has gone, the night is young.

KitchenBunny. Hope the meal was ok. Must trymyself soon, with Cheesy Tortillas, Has Beans Chilli and topped with grated cheese. Thinks I caould add some of Friths Sparrow Legs on the side as well.

5 Made it to work today, but only 4 hours and knackered. Guess we will get to a head soon, but I am not forcing. (NOT REALLY).

4 Knackered, chest infection has gone but still knc'd

3 Doctor tomorrow again. Got to get it done.

2 Just two of us tonight, moggins is banished to his blanket, well my old tee shirt and kitchen door shut, bolted. Just bread and water for him tonight. Wish he would do what it says on the packet, and Go Cat. Cor he is lovelly really but an absolute pain in the rrrrrr.

1 Interesting programme on C4 at 8. My thoughts ??? I told you lot to leave the boy alone, but some would not listen to our wishes. Now we are all in trouble for the outcome of this selfishness.

Well mother saved up her morphine prescriptions and got her due overdose administered by the doctor in 1985. To her, she knew the date, some thought it was pain relief, to others it was an end. To me, it was murder.

Evening, just posting some pleasures for today:

    1. Tea tonight - sticky sweet & spicy turkey kebabs with salad & bread and butter. Yum.
    2. I can hear so many different kinds of birds tonight. Magpies, starlings, robins, sparrows... Lots :)
    3. A nice cup of tea.
    4. Had a nice chat with my Mum.
    5. Have started a to do list again to be a bit more productive. Let's hope so, at any rate!

Whew, work seemed to fly today. Got my head down, buried it in paperwork and got through a large part of it, although I'm still playing catch-up. Have been amending mealplan to make it healthier so will have to tweak it further. Am on the lookout for some lovely soup!

    Have a good evening, everyone.

    K xx

    1. NSD

    2. Sunshine

    3. The electrician has started the rewiring and has done loads in one day

    4. Managed not to slap the silly moo at work who kept on going on about what I might do if my job gets made redundant, think I deserve a medal for that!!

    5. DD and I had lots of silly cuddles and games this afternoon

    6. Made scrumptious dinner and there's enough left over for my lunch tomorrow, yay

    7. Goodish physio session, though my stupid leg has been hurting like mad since last night. I'm nearly at my quota though, so hoping she can get me some more sessions, fingers crossed

    8. DD is having a sneaky night in my bed tonight as her room is in turmoil with the electrics, so a pleasure for both of us, as I'm feeling a bit low tonight so will enjoy the cuddles and she loves being in my room any time of the day or night! :)

(((PK))) sending healing vibes you way

    1. Had a great night's sleep with the new duvet, but the dog hates it! He kept trying to get on the end of the bed but it's very puffed up and the casing is 'crackly' so he gave up and slept on the floor which is where he belongs, of course, but.....:o. Am going to turn the old duvet into a bed for him. Spoiled brat.

    2. Good session at gym this morning

    3. Back to DD's for a cuppa afterwards to be almost licked to death by one of the dogs, and had to stroke the parrot til he almost fell asleep. Took an empty cling film cardboard tube for the parrot, he loves to tear them to shreds

    4. Visit to GP to update my scrip. One item crossed off but two added on, one of which is to help arthritis in my hands. Never realised when I heard people say how much discomfort they're in that it's actually very painful. Thanks once more NHS for free healthcare :D

    5. Out to meet friends this evening, a guest couple came along from the same town I lived in, albeit only for a couple of years, near Newhaven. We had a lovely chat about places I knew, and how it's changed today.

    Sweet dreams :)

Hello, fell asleep on sofa last night before I could post so a mix of Monday/Tuesday pleasures:

    1. A customer came in first thing this morning with a shopping trolley/baskety thing on wheels....you know what I mean! Full to the brim with fresh lemons off her tree! So I got a bagful & filled a bowl & left a note for customers to help themselves, which they quite happily did!

2.Watching Hairy Biker's DVD....they are in Scotland at the moment!

3.A flock of black parrots flew over my car yesterday, quite stunning.

4.Seeing the kookaburra in the tree outside my work window!

5.Made a very delicious macaroni cheese last night...probably ate too much hence falling asleep on sofa!

purple kitten look after yourself! Hope you get sorted out!
Sparrer I so agree with you about the NHS, it is probably taken for granted by many but when you don't have that kind of system (like here in Australia) you miss it!

    Have a lovely day :)

Too late to update last night so here's five for yesterday
    1) masters student dissertation back from external -distinction :T
    2) nice lunch of rest of ys red pepper humous, pasta, prawns and eft over salad:beer:
    3) finished my latest montalbano :)
    4) decided not to go to seminar, instead undisturbed day marking. Induction scripts take 10-15 mins each so morning challenged myself to start new one on each quarter, filling any spare time with emails /getting cuppa etc then afternoon accredited assignments were longer so gave myself 30 mins each. Managed to get 24 done (16+8) plus other little jobs so very satisfying
    5) one of jobs was to write 250 words on equal marriage and what the proposed legislation would mean to me (OH also been asked) and got that done too :j
Today i have a masters student visiting from sweden. He's taking me for lunch and we will discuss his project. Then i have an appointment at the hospital to have 'skin lesions investigated'. Bleuh. At least if need biopsy wont be as painful as one on tongue.
