    1. Cleaned the house through this morning.

    2. Had a rummage around the freezer ( I am running down the contents for a big shop to be done at butchers later in the week) and found some chicken legs for dinner tonight

    3. Had a chat with my aunty on the phone for about an hour

    4. Had a bowl of mushroom soup and it was bliss

    5. Sat and watched Eat Pray Love film this afternoon before DH walked in through door tonight!
Cat, Dogs and the Horses are our fag and beer money :D

Chicken:- You can't be ill on your week off, tell those bugs to keep at bay :)

    1.A lovely Sunday lay in
2.Cooked up a full grilled English brekkie, bacon, sausage, egg, real tomatoes, small chips, toast and tea. It was delicious.
3.Pleasure to see DDad on Fathers day, I was able to do some bits in the garden for him, digging up a bamboo tree and clearing out shed stuff.
    4. DDad very kindly paid for a tank of fuel, very generous, and it makes a hughe difference to us as we are running on fumes.:)
5.DH enjoying my flat rock cakes, I think he’s eating them to get them out of the way for the next lot of baking:rotfl:
    6. Cooking a HM pizza.

    1. The sunshine and breeze to blow the washing dry on the line

    2. NSD

    3. Exchanged voicemails with my papa for father's day and had a lovely email from my mum to let us know how touched he was by our cards

    4. Fab church services today, feel really uplifted and happy tonight

    5. DD and I had lunch outside in the garden, reminding us a little of Italy as it was picky, salady stuff in the sunshine

    6. We did a bit of weeding and watered our lovely tomato plants that have survived not being looked after whilst we were away

    7. I had a lovely sleep this afternoon, really needed it as I've been feeling exhausted for nearly a week now, grrr.

    8. Whilst snoring loudly (sad but true), DD went into the garden and picked me some poppies, my favourite flower, and other beautiful goodies, made a paper vase and brought them in to me. What an angel she is x

Am so tired! Here are my pleasures for the weekend.

    Saturday

    1) Bit of a lie in.

    2) House reasonably tidy.

    3) Went to OH's. :-)

    4) Went looking for a tent for when we and all sons go camping in the summer holidays. :-)

    5) Lunch in a cafe and a spell in the charity shops.

    6) Went to the cinema.

    Today

    1) OH's sons back home.

    2) Cooked breakfast.

    3) Catching up on the Archers.

    4) Another tent shop! This may mean a trip to Notts (my old stomping ground) to look round my favourite army surplus shop. :-)))))

    5) Went to see my dad for father's day.

    6) Sons back from their fathers' and happy enough.

    Evening all :)
    1. woke at silly o'clock (for me) so had a quick wash and a banana and took myself off to the gym. Fortunately they open at 8am every day
    2. Home for a shower, breakfast of spicy fruity porridge and off to a meeting with friends. Someone brought rich chocolate biscuits, it would have been rude not to...
    3. Went to @ldi for a few bits and came out with a king sized duck feather & down duvet for 'only' £20. Cheapest I've seen elsewhere is £60+, we have to grab these opportunities as they arise :o
    4. Stripped the bed, got the washing done and almost dried on the line before it rained
    5. Pruned the lilac tree, tied up the loganberry which is sagging with fruit - some turning pink already - weeded all the pots. Oddly the plum is only fruiting on one side, half is just leaves, the other half has masses of plums forming. One of life's little mysteries

    Sleep tight :)

Hmm, had quite fancied chickens but, 4.30:eek: Maybe i'll leave it!

Haven't done much except clean today but here goes

    1. Downstairs at least is clean. Need to dust bedrooms tomorrow and clean bathrooms then we will be up to date
    2. Made 8 jars of marmelade from a lakeland tin. Seems to have worked well.
    3. DS and I had roast turkey leg for tea - didn't like it much mind but it was whoopsied. Made nice roast spuds (shh don't tell the veggie! :o) Trouble is there's another still in freezer, I might bin it.
4 Watched another Sherlock with DD - have finished knitting the front of my summer thing.
    5. OH and MIL have had a lovely day in Snowdonia where the weather has been gorgeous apparently.

DDs last GCSE tomorrow - Geography. We are going to Solihull after for a celebratory shop and lunch in Wagamamas.
I wanna be in the room where it happens
