thought so but it had 'edition' in it :)

Now, to get? Or not to get? That is the question

If I get, I can set up PC 6 weeks early, don't get I have to wait those 6 excruciatingly slow weeks

    Hmmm

ETA Blonde head on, it said OEM edition

That's a full retail so not OEM

yup fine from that point of view.... tho if you read the spec it is actually the upgrade version not the full version -just more expensive than other places that sell the upgrade version for :p

    http://www.ebuyer.com/product/168373/show_product_overview

It doesn't seem to say anywhere apart from the title 'Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium - Complete package - 1 PC - DVD - English - United Kingdom'

    ebuyer have it:
    http://www.ebuyer.com/product/168373

    http://www.ebuyer.com/product/175067

full and upgrade for £90 & £65 respectively.... not sure what prices are likely to do over the next few weeks, possibility of them going up as the launch offers dry up

(the top corner in the picture can be a give away, the upgrade version has a light coloured section in the top left, full does not)

Often refered to as binning- after testing the most efficient cpu's are put in a higher category than cpu's which need higher volts to work the same speed.

Putting the motherboard into a case is the hardest part because of all the connections eg usb wires, sound, switches etc. There will be a manual for the m/board that tells what goes where but they are sometimes a bit chinese english! Sometimes a magnifying glass helps but the wires in the case are always labled.
Putting a system into a new case is a sure way to impress non-techy people!!
Newer ati cards are getting better and the prices are less than older cards -just like new cpu's are better and cheaper,eg 4670 was £56 in april/may.
Don't worry about overclocking, not necessary.
SHOP AROUND!! I usually use ebuyer but I always shop around.
You may be able to get a student version O.S. don't buy it yet.
