Hmmm.... quite fancy rhubarb, but no idea how to cook it.

Wash , chop into 1" approx pieces then simmer over low heat with only a minimum of water to stop it sticking to the pan , add sugar to taste. Enjoy.

You could also add some Ginger.
I used to be indecisive but now I am not sure.

    Thanks, all.

I shall definitely be trying the rhubarb. Might look up a recipe for crumble topping, too. :)

Or if I'm being lazy, I might use the Microwave flapjack recipe I already have.

    Thanks beany.

Peppers for myself and the oranges.
Might also get the rhubarb, managed to get some for 25p in Sainsbury's (reduced) and nice with custard.

Cherry tomatoes currently in Lidl are a good batch - same price (£1.39 for 500g) and are small, ripe, flavourful normal tomatoes on the vine rather than bouncy tasteless bullets (haven't been in Aldi this week so not accusing - but often baby plums are rubbish).

Yep that's what I see too. Hope it is the peppers though as they have jumped up in price quite a bit.
