    melons in our Aldi were tiny too. Better to pay the extra and get a Smartprice one from Asda for £1. The Jerseys were lovely though.

    OK good price 450gm for 69p but are they really this seasons? Have just peeled some bought yesterday and no 'new potato' smell and seem quite hard. Will cook this evening and see how they taste

    What are kids bananas, small ones?

    If so, that doesn't seem much of a deal given that their standard bananas are normally 68p per kg, with a (pre-packed) kg pack normally containing 6, 7 or 8 bananas (depending on size).
