Do you know whether that's a text to voice message (in which case, I wouldn't get it because I have that annoying facility switched off) or a 'real' voice message?Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0

Costing an extra 7½p, 7½p and (IIRC) 15p respectively!
Laziness is expensive with BT.
I though the prices sounded cheap for BT so checked here:
http://www.productsandservices.bt.com/consumerProducts/displayTopic.do?topicId=25504
BT 1471 has a fixed price of 12.2p. The fee will apply when customers press "3" to return the call to the telephone number of the last caller and will be charged regardless of whether or not the call is connected.
It my case I was charged even though I got a automated message from BT saying I had not been charged for this call - a charge did turn up on my bill.0 -
