Aww so sorry to hear that wendz, it really puts things in perspective. Hope your friend is okay.
Had a big chat with OH about the house stuff. I think it's all under control. We have to do his book keeping for the current tax year this weekend, so that his accountant can do a projected earnings sheet for him next week. Then we will be all ready for the financial interview on Friday.:A :heartpuls June 2014 / £2014 in 2014 / £735.97 / 36.5%0 -
Yeah it does , makes you not want to waste your life! I think she is OK, I have told her I am here for her that is all I can do really.
Glad the house stuff is under control Lara, all sounds very complicated!0 -
Sorry to hear about your friend's sister Wendz, that's so sad, especially when so young too.

Cuz there's loads of times I have time to write a few reviews but I don't wanna put them all up cuz I want to spread them out. So I was thinking I could do what you do, but only if it's worth it. And is it allowed?!
I tend to do more basic ones on NIMs account than on mine, but its beneficial in that I don't look like such a churner! That said I tend to write them in word anyway, save them, then just upload some on days I don't actually have time to write them. People just don't like it if you do more than about 3 a day, plus you tend to loose rates.Sorry to hijack the thread but I told you all a few weeks ago about my friends little sister who had cancer well sadly she passed away this morning in her sleep. Very sad news.
Really sorry to hear that Wendz, really feel for your friend.Swinstie73 wrote: »Forgot to do weigh in on Wed, sad to say weighed in last night and have put on 1lb! Oh well, must try harder!

Very busy day for us today. Went to see the house again. Even more certain this time. NIM is going to speak to his dad on Tuesday about finances. If all goes well then we can go ahead and make an offer. Did notice a manhole right where we want to put the extension though, not great!
Finally got my engagement ring back! Apparently its been sitting there weeks! I feel a complaint letter coming on. Its a lot shinier than I remember it though
Went to look at wedding rings today. Saw a very nice square cut platinum band, completely plain but square rather than rounded. However, I do think I probably prefer the one on Amazon, and now I know that shape is what I want, I just have to go a bit crazy saving up to get it. NIM also found out palladium CAN be resized, just some major jewellers don't offer the service so say it can't, so hes going with that, which cuts his ring from £700 to £350 or so. He saw a ring he really liked too, its in white gold but they gave him the prices for how much it would cost to make it in titanium, and its not bad. If I go with the plain band its £410, the diamond one is £1000ish, think I'm going to get the diamond one, and if I don't like it, it can go back, if I do, great.
Also went to look at cars. Still no clue what we want. Golf is off the list as overpriced, A3 is still on there, as is the passat, s40, bora and 3 series.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Sounds like a very busy day. Well OH should nearly be in Melbourne.
I would be looking at the passat or A3 if i were you Dinah. Likely to have been looked after compared to the others. The 3 series is likely to have been pushed a bit like Golfs.0 -
Smart man Poolie, they're the two that are top of the list.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

How exciting about the house if all goes well, I am sure you managed to persuade him through your very detailed e-mail.0
