That sounds like the right thing to do about the church, you don't want to belong to something that you don't agree with how it is run. Hopefully you will find another church that is more suited.
Forgot to ask, how was the babysitting?0 -
Really really good, the little girl was adorable, the other two were in bed. Apparently first thing she asked when she woke up was when are we coming back! Easy £33 I think!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Oh yeah how did the babysitting go?
Well if you don't keep in touch with the girl from church, I guess at least you save on her dress, even if you have to pay for make-up!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
Wow sounds like a great babysitting gig. The ones I used to do were a nightmare. There was one with 3 year old twins and you would put one in bed and the other would escape.0

LOL @ Tete!
That's what I don't like about church, if you leave your 'friends' there don't tend to hang around! You never know though, I hope you do stay in touch, you clearly hit it off if she was close enough to be a bridesmaid so I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you! Also keeping my fingers crossed that you find a church that suits you.
I'm really sorry to hear about your friend's sister Wendz, you're being a good friend by being there for her, that's all you can do really. I hope she finds some comfort in you and her other friends being at the funeral to support her.
ROTE, that's good news about Amber's hips! It sounds like she's going to be a little smartie too if she's developing ahead of schedule! Looking forward to seeing her dressed up as mini santa- there's something about babies in costumes that makes me go all gooey and broody, I was nightmare on Halloween!
Our friends had their baby on Wednesday but we didn't find out until Saturday when they brought her to the rugby club, they thought we knew already because her sister had blabbed on Facebook before they'd had a chance to tell everyone the good news! Sometimes I hate how Facebook allows people to steal your special news! Anyway, the baby's a little girl called Lexie Belle, how cute is that?! OH won't let me get too close because he knows that I'll get broody!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -

:rotfl::rotfl: I think OH gets more broody around babies than me now!
Found out a few weeks ago that my cousin is pregnant, she had the 12 week scan last week and they said theres a lot of fluid around its head. Said theres a strong chance it wil be born pretty much brain dead if she continues with the pregnancy. Shes got to go for more tests but they are encourging her to have an abortion - feel so awful for her, what a horrible decision to have to make.Biggest Loser Weight Loss: 13 / 20 lb0 -
Oh dear Flower, how awful for your cousin. I'll be a wreck when I'm pregnant, preying that everything goes well and worrying that the baby's not developing properly etc, it's so heartbreaking when you do lose a baby. At least nowadays they have the tests to detect problems early on so you don't have the pain of going full term and the still birth... but it is little consolation.Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It is little consolation, but your right it is as good thing that they can do these tests. I feel so awful for my cousin, but i am sure she would rather know now, than go through the whole pregnancy and have either a still birth or if she was lucky a baby who lived for a very short time.Biggest Loser Weight Loss: 13 / 20 lb0

Oh that's awful flower, poor girl, and they must have been so excited too. A friend of ours has just had a bit of a drama - she's about 8 weeks pregnant and was rushed into hospital last week with stomach pains and bleeding, we assumed it was miscarriage but apparently it was some sort of ectopic pregnancy (all information is third hand via her OH and mine - men!) but they've removed the baby from the tube and attached it to her womb and everything is going to be OK. She's home now, hoping to see her this week, but I guess she's going to have to take it pretty easily for the duration after that.Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0
