I prefer the Amazon one Dinah, I like the stones next to each other rather than spaced out. I know what you mean about expensive tastes though, I can flick through a magazine full of Primark clothes, and the one dress I like is from Armani or somewhere, sigh.

I like that ring too Birdie - really unusual, is that what you're going for? I like the idea of a traditional plain band myself.

I feel your pain re: the expensive tastes! I always fall in love with the most expensive thing in the magazine!

I think my ring would look odd with a plain band because of the shape of my engagement ring; it's kind of 'pinched' around the diamond and I tried a plain band and there's an odd looking gap so if I get a wedding ring with an intentional gap it might look better! It would have been a lot easier if we'd bought one of those 2 ring sets!

Tbh Tete part of me does think I'd rather just be traditional and get a plain ring. I've tried my engagement ring on with a plain one, and I've tried a similar engagement ring with a bling wedding ring, and I really don't know what I prefer. Think we need to try more rings on once I get my engagement ring back! If I do just want a plain one we can cut about £1000 off the challenge!

Hmmm... for £1000 I'd be tempted to cut out the bling! You could always get a bling eternity ring later, personally I like the excuse for more jewellery! Maybe a 1st baby present...? :)

Don't like the idea of wearing 3 rings though, getting a bit bulky!

Ooh, can I see your engagement ring when you get it back Dinah? I prefer plain wedding bands (I think, having never given this any thought til recently!) but I really like the twist one, who was that, Birdie? So much ring talk I'm confused! I'm not a bling girl myself (not that much of a girl really), which is lucky as I can't afford expensive rings lol!
Off to acquaint myself with your budget Dinah, and to see if I can locate the LW thread...

Loving all the wedding talk & all the dresses and rings!

I have a platinum engagement ring and went for a plain wedding band as I felt the sparkly ones took away from the engagement ring (which is very sparkly). It's all a matter of personal taste though! OH's wedding ring was way more expensive than mine (£800!) but it is contemporary and stunning. Mine was 1/2 price cos we bought OH's in the same place.

    And one last thing:
