  • I know! I'm £2 away! I think this set previously sold for £35 but I've had my eye on it a while and it hasn't moved :(

Thanks Birdie, he comes back on the evening of the 12th so ages yet :( It's not even like we're at home and I can see other people so it's pretty lonely :( I may have to eat chocolate as I'm pretty fed up today.

Tete, does this mean you a walker then or are they a present for someone?

anyway, I came across this... one word- eeewwwww!

That reminds me of the Katy Perry Wedding Dress from Hot n Cold - I loved that dress! Can't fully say the same about that one..

How did the email go Dinah? Hope the Baileys helped! :D

Hope you're feeling a bit better today Bails. I'd be totally missing OH too. Not long to go now though :)

Email finished. NIM is reading it today in order to send to his dad. Baileys was lovely. Massage and facial was excellent, girl chatted to me the whole time which I liked as I didn't get bored.

Another £116 into the ring fund today. This comes from £11 MS payment, £58 Quidco payment, and £47 refund from an item I got on Etsy 2 months ago.

The challenge isn't going overly well as I don't have lots of time, however babysitting tonight will be another £20, and I'm going to try very hard to get some time for making things for etsy in the next fortnight or so.

I try to be a walker, so they're a present for me! Haven't been for a while though, we were hoping to get out in Northumberland this weekend but it's looking like it's gonna be miserable :(

Sounds like it'll take NIM all day to read this epic email Dinah, but it is a Friday I suppose. Unfortunately all the management team are in today for a meeting so I'll be busier than usual, it's such a pain on a Friday!

Got a rebate for overpaid electricity yesterday after changing suppliers so that's £40 to add to the savings fund. Really not doing very well at all. OH and I are going to look at booking SOMETHING for December tomorrow - if not Bruges (which I think is unlikely at this stage) then maybe London as there's a £69 deal in the window atm - if we do do London it will be a lot cheaper so that would be a bit of a relief to be honest.

    How's everyone else today?

Freaking out a bit tbh, I just got this scary form about the house sale from the housing association. Even though we haven't had our financial interview (next week) so we don't know if we'll get the ok to buy the place, we have got this scary form which we have to fill in asking us who is our mortgage provider and our solicitors?! Even though we don't even have to have that sorted yet.

And the deposit we have put on (£250) isn't refundable any more after we put in this form, so I don't really want to send it until we get the go ahead for a mortgage as that would be £250 down the drain.

Also I asked for a copy of the contract, I wouldn't really want to accept anything without being sure of what we are buying.

Basically I am just having a panic as this is the biggest thing I have ever done and I am quite terrified. <flap, flap flap>

Calm down hon, house buying is big money, and at the end of the day should the worst happen you're never going to be on your death bed thinking 'it was that £250 that ruined me'! Does the form have to be submitted before next week anyway?

  • Is there anyone you can call to ask for clarification on the mortgage issue?

    Thanks you two, you're right.

Felling a bit better about it now. I guess it will probably take them ages to send the lease so I can say I am not returning the acceptance offer form until I have had a good read of the lease small print (who would ).

Still, somehow I just don't feel old enough! I think I will be forever 21 inside....:rotfl:
