I always love that! My Mum always gets about 3 dozen bread rolls and 2 loaves 'just in case'... not to mention the 6 pints of milk! It's like we're expecting a nuclear holocaust to hit over Christmas!
Same here but we always end up running out of loo roll when all the family come for a big drinking session on Boxing Day! I bought a 16 pack this year
Where has today gone?? I was totally gonna do a Dooyoo in work today! I'm sure I have time to quickly fire one off before 5...Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -

I just joined Bingo Britain after all the talk on here and already won £5 in my first day! It's a pretty good intro offer too, do I have to play every day in order to get the £5 bonus cash or does it just automatically accumulate?Emergency Fund - £8572.39 / £10,000 :: Mortgage OP 2025 - £LISA 24/25 - £3200 / £4000 :: NSD 2025 - 2 / 150 :: Books Read: 1 / 52 :: Decluttering - 4 / 1000Engaged 9th December 2010 :: Married 29th October 2015 :: Bought a House 13th January 20170

Tempted to give Bingo Britain a whirl :undecided What do I do? Deposit £5 - play it through to get the £5 everyday and any winnings I get top up to £20 each day and redeem? Don't want to join and get it wrong!! Could do with the extra money to pay my share of next years holiday. Only 152 days to go
Sorry to hijack your thread Dinah, but is there anyone here who does STP?? Had an idea for a challenge I want to do but I don't wanna go it alone0 -
Cinny I usually do STP if I am in the mood as I get sick of listening to very very very poor songs.0

Evening everyone,
Had a really busy day today. Was quite good actually because it took my mind off everything. Just got home from work and with it now being the final run up to Christmas we have been rushed off our feet.
I know i said i was putting money stuff on hold for now while i sorted myself out, but i have been looking at the bank accounts and i am going to pay off the Natwest CC tomorrow!Biggest Loser Weight Loss: 13 / 20 lb0 -
heya everyone!
Dinah well done on winning £50 on BB! its a good offer isnt it but I havent won anything else since I won the £27.50 in my first week
I've had a bit of an up and down day today I got an assignment back and I got 91% so im really happy but then I got rejected from one of the grad schemes I've applied toSo I'm just really upset as its kind of hitting home that I can get rejected and I think I have got my hopes up too much for this other job I want
Also haven't managed to get much work done recently but I am just being a bit cold and moany I think! I've got out of dooyoo a bit too, I just always seem to be rating lol (thanks to the peeps who have read mine!) and I need to do some more but I can never think about anything worthwhile to write about lol - might go and have a browse now - just can't believe how many you do dinah!
I got that £500 uni prize last week, so I think it might have cleared in my account but it is allready prespent on my snowboarding (go on sat yey!!) ! and then I spend lots of euros this weekend. I got a new hat as an early christmas present though yey!!
other moneymaking wise, I just seem to be spending it recently!! I had a new interview outfit (deffo worth it, I felt really good) last week, and then loads of christmas presents (managed to get half of OHs family sorted for £27 using the M&S alcohol gift glitch!!) and just in general I seem to be flashing my card about waay too much
Got 4 days work booked over xmas though (not much but It will be freezing!) so hopefully that will help with the funds... and apart from that I dont think theres much else to report on basically!!
ooh I did get £20 of vouchers from myvoice though, hoping my mum will buy them off me or I will use them for food shopping next semester!!0 -
Cinny - you are right about Bingo Britain. You deposit five pounds, play it through then each day for 30 days you get 5 pounds bonus, anything you win is cash and you can cash out. If it is less than 20 you need to deposit and then withdraw it all. It is quick to withdraw and you normally get it within a couple of days.
Tink - sorry to hear about the grad scheme , I applied for a few after uni and was dissapointing not to get them. I was very lucky to get the one I did from my work experience.
We are eating through all our food in the flat as we will all be down in Southampton at christmas.
Only 5 more working days for me before christmas yippee0 -
Wendz do you have to withdraw every day or can you wait until you have £20?
Good news about paying off your CC Flower! Bet you can't wait, you've done really well!
91% is great Tink! I'm chuffed with 50% at the mo!Sucks about the grad scheme but fingers crossed for others you've applied for.
