Dinah can you remember how high the highest balcony is? They're the cheap seats obviously but I don't know if it's worth it for the neck strain?!

Aww had a dream last night that I won the scholarship for my phd. Then I woke up this morning thinking it was true, and now I'm really disappointed. How silly, I really thought I would have word by now...:o

Personally I think its too high up in the Gods, you can't really see anything and that you can see is only the tops of their heads! Have only gone up there twice and both times I swore not to do it again!

Lara - I have those kind of dreams to! Only I normally marry a young Colin Firth and wake up to find OH next to me. Gutted! Hope you hear something from them soon. Can't quite believe it's Christmas next week either 10 sleeps away!

Dinah - the christmas preset sounds like one you will really appreciate. I did ballet at uni, was really fun and have got sweet little ballet shoes. I saw some adverts for classes at the Pineapple studios in London and was quite tempted, might look into it in the new year.

I'd consider trying it but I doubt we have classes around here!

It's worth a look though Dinah - hope you find something! I was never elegant enough to do ballet, I'm too heavy footed and my 'little pixie picking fruit from a tree' was more like an elephant jumping for a peanut

Thanks Dinah for the theatre advice, might look at the stalls actually as those views tend to be OK.

I seem to remember being told I was too tall to do dancing classes, maybe they could just see my complete lack of co-ordination a mile off!

Really? My best friend at senior school was 6ft 1" and she did ballet, jazz and modern and competed in some of them as well. That said they probably didn't know she was going to be so tall when she started at about age 6!
