I'm like Tete. For the sake of 14p I'd want to KNOW it was all cleared and closed.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008
Debt September 20th 2022 £2991.68- 96.92% paid off0 -
Since the amount is taken by Direct Debit it is up to them to contact me 10 working days before payment is due to tell me they are changing it. They could have the last 14p if they want it in January. Since it was an interest free loan they are not making any money from it.
I will see what happens with it. I cannot find the facts but I thought the minimum they could take had to be £1. Lets see what happens, they have my address.0 -

I agree with you but since it is taken by Direct Debit, lets see what happens. They have to give me written notice of the change of amount soon. If I call them it will cost me more than 14p on the phone call or letter.0 -

The loan is from Black Horse Finance - part of the Lloyds Banking Group - partly owed by the [STRIKE]Government[/STRIKE] Tax Payer.
There is no way they would respond to an email for starters Data Protection Act would prevent them from responding as they would be unable to verify the sender.0 -
Thought that might have been too simple!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0

That sounds a bit of a pain for the sake of 14p, hope they don't take it or you work out an easy way to pay it.0

Hmmm, sounds like a tough one Poolie! You can't even stick 14p in an envelope and send it to them because the postage would cost twice that amount! Can you get your hands on a free post envelope to send it to them? I just love the idea of sellotaping 14p to a bit of card and letting them deal with it! From a banking point of view it'll cost them loads (in proportion to the value banked) to actually process that 14p in cash! Hehe!
Etsy shop looks great Dinah! But now I've got etsy open I'm going to have to have a mooch... not good!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
I'm still torn what to do next on etsy. Aprons would be really easy, but there are quite a lot on there. But it also trains my sewing skills, so I'm thinking maybe just making 5 aprons and 5 sets of tablemats and table runners. That way its not a huge outlay, and I can just use them myself or give some to my mum if no one ever buys them!
Going to take my camera to Birmingham this weekend, hoping for some good light to get some nice shots.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

I think the aprons, table mats and runners are a good idea. Like you say it'll build up your skills and it won't cost a fortune whilst you see how they sell. You might also find that as you're making these you get inspired to make other things!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary.
