So a lot didn't get done, but thats only because setting up my online shop took so long! None of the photos up there are my dads as his laptop has died as has his external hard drive back up (all in the space of 3 days!). However its done, stage 1 of my Etsy plan is now well underway. Now all I need are buyers. If anyone is interested, check out my new shop here. If anyone notices any errors in the shop please please let me know (this is more the gramatical errors or pricing something crazy, rather than the 'your photos suck' type errors!)
I've actually been thinking about the next shop stage a lot. I have a couple of directions I could go. I'm fairly sure its going to be a basic sewing thing, but I'm toying between an apron and placemat/table runners type shop, a sewn gifts type shop or the more adventurous and probably not at my skills level yet upcycled fashion type shop.
Haven't finished for the night yet, hoping to list 2 big boxes of books before bedtime, probably not going to get any reviews done though.
My concert tickets are at 14 watchers but still no bidders on ebay at the moment. Bought the good food show tickets last night though using a bogof code I found on here. £22.50 for two people including seeing James Martin do a show, quite happy with that.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

The shop looks brilliant Dinah - lets hope the orders come rolling in!
Cant see any errors - it all looks good to me!
I keep encouraging OH to do something like that, hes really into photography and has taken some amazing photos. I've already picked some out that i want putting onto canvas when we have our own place again. He doesnt have very much confidence in his work but i think alot of them look a professional quality - a professional photography has even told him this!Biggest Loser Weight Loss: 13 / 20 lb0 -
Wow D those pictures look amazing and £10 each would be wicked! let us know how you go!!
I would watch out maybe on the whole sewing thing as I know you are taking classes and I dont know how good you are but there are already looooads of people on etsy doing similar things so you would have to be really careful. At least with photos you don't get left with a whole load of stock or anything you have to try and shift if they dont sell?
Anyway I hope everyone had a good weekend
Mine was ok but it has ended on a bit of a downer really and im not too sure why, more like one of those "lots of little things" kinda evenings like I didn't feel very well, and then I feel a bit homesick, my bf had to leave really early to get the train home so i got to see even less of him, I got really dissapointed he didn't do anything really for our anniversary even though I went to loads of effort, my computer lost some of my work and I am finding an application form I want to do way too hard
but hey! I did ask the boy to work out how much he owed me from his paypal and it came to £100! I appreciate that in our relationship it does seem to even out with what we each pay for but this realy was money I'd made from ebay and sliceth pie and surveys so he paid it to me, and thats a great little chunk towards my holiday paying back savings thing!!
I've done some ratings on dooyoo and some reviews and my total is now over 20000 ~(but waiting for some to be validated?!) do you think I should hold out for the cheque? (A loooong way to go!) I do allready have a lot of amazon vouchers from bingoport.... I am thinking the cheque but its a long way, are they quick to send them does anyone know? and I think I have found you all on the site but if I havent please let me know ! (I'm milly..)0 -
See what you're saying Tink, but don't try don't get right? Besides, photography is the most oversubscribed category on there!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Tink - sorry to hear that your weekend wasn't great.
The chequues usually arrive in 2 -3 weeks from Dooyoo, so it is fairly quick. I always go for cheques mainly because i want to pay off my debt as quick as possible but you should do whatever is useful for you.
Dinah - the shop looks great , couldn't see any obvious errors and the cake is certainly interesting!
I have got my friends sisters funeral today. I am feeling really nervous, I don't know what it will be like.0
