How fab would it have been if you'd got that? They'll be something like it come up again though. In the mean time you can make soup with a funky chrome thing!0

Wow, can you imagine getting that mixer as a freebie?! I was gonna ask what was wrong with the Gu but I'll go and read your review!

Hi all, Ugh Lara sounds like a nightmare, you need the eyes of a hawk with these naughty financial types, have you decided what to do?
Dinah, score on the soup blitzer thing, shame about the mixer though, although that's quite cheap compared to most I've seen. I really want one but I nearly collapsed the first time I saw the price of them! How does one become a Vine person?
Good look with Ofsted ROTE, I don't work in a school but I do work with teachers and I see exactly how 'all hands on deck' it becomes when they're in town!
Didn't do any ebay in the end, I painted my toenails and ate Pringles and drank wine, had a bit of a spat with OH so was feeling sorry for myself, all made up now though and I'm regretting the Pringles (tho not the wine).Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
You need to have written reviews for amazon in the past, and have a reasonably good feedback rating. (ie over about 50% helpfuls). Then an ad just appears on the front page of the site one day saying 'do you want free stuff' or something similar.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Ooh, Vine sounds good! How many reviews did you write roughly Dinah before that happened!
Ofsted sounds definitely NOT good ROTE, thinking of you! My last Ofsted was 2005 and the school I'm applying to was just Ofsteded this March so hoping I won't have one too soon. What do you teach?
Lara, sorry about financial add-ons, v frustrating!
Glad you made up with OH Tete (wine and Pringles sounds good to me!)
So I had a 40-min 'informal chat' with the Head last night that seemed pretty formal to me  and I am now through to the next stage :j So interview sometime soon on Skype with the Head and two directors..._pale_The 1,000 Day Challenge:Feb 16, 2016500/30,000

So Bails, I forget, is this a teaching job for when you get back to England? Have I got this right, you were a teacher, got ill for a couple of years (?), then went off on your adventure, and this will be your first teaching job in a while? Skype interviews are probably quite good because you can fidget with your hands and they won't realise you're nervous!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0

I probably only wrote about 12-15 before I was invited, but obviously it takes a bit of time for people to rate you as useful or not.
Really happy for you about the job Bails, things are really coming along.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008
