Football club didn't pay up today but the money is coming tomorrow instead. We're off to East London for the game so long old day for the boys but they seem up for it....:T

Played golf today - had a horrendous round but there was the odd bright spot in amongst the gloom. I birdied the fourth hole but sadly had too many sevens and eights (and a ten) to keep a decent score.

Picked the boys up at 3.30pm and went shopping (£10.02) in Asda as by then I didn't know the money was coming tomorrow so had to take it steady. Have nothing for lunch or tea tomorrow so we'll have to buy out but be sensible about it. They've arranged for me to be paid by standing order from next month so things should settle down a bit.

Absolutely shattered, all three of us..... It's been a long old day, out since 8.30am and not getting back until 9.45pm.

Off to football today but the team lost 2-0 sadly. On the way, had to divert for 25 minutes due to the A303 being closed for roadworks while tonight coming back had to divert for 45 minutes as the M4 was shut too!

Spent (deep breath needed) £40.00 on diesel, £2.39 on sweets, £12.10 on food, £3.00 on a programme and £25.00 on the match ticket.

Tomorrow is a big chill in the morning before the boys play football in the afternoon.

    Night all.:)

Pretty much a no-spend day today except for a pound at the quiz tonight. We came second tonight which earns us eight drink vouchers so the quiz won't cost me any more than a pound next week earlier. This is the fourth week running we have either come first or second....:T

Boys won their football today 5-3 and sit third in the league tonight. DS3 was a little jaded today as he (and his brother had a long day yesterday) but they both played well enough.

Sat here with toothache now so hoping it will settle down a bit before bedtime....:(

Football money came in today which means I've been spend, spend, spending today, pretty much all of which has been justified.

    Diesel £22.50, Rent £280.00, Shopping £39.98, Trainers £6.00, Socks £2.00, Gas £7.00

Tomorrow brings good times, I hope. I've got an extra courier job booked for tomorrow morning and I'm off to the Midlands tomorrow night for the football though I'm only driving to the motorway to pick up my lift.

Also ringing New Zealand in the morning to chat to a former player for Saturday's programme.

Just off to bed now as I've been up for seventeen hours ....

Got up and did the booked courier job. Rang the ex-player in New Zealand then went and got a tyre changed from my mate whose car it is.

Wrote an article for the programme and showered before getting picked up to go to Walsall this evening. The team won 1-0 which cheered everyone involved but it was so cold up there I tried to text the boys the final score and couldn't...:o

Back home just after midnight and just chilling before bedtime. Spent £10.58 on tea plus a snack and a hot drink at the football tonight.

Tomorrow sees two paper rounds, a wodge of proof reading, the school run plus football training.

Decided to leave the papers until tomorrow as it's been raining this morning and afternoon. Will have to do them tomorrow though as otherwise I'll not get them done in time....;)

Did a mini-shop in Tesco's today as I'd run out of milk and I've had a bit of toothache so needed some cotton wool buds to dab the clove oil on with.

Picked the boys up from school, fed them, took them to football training then dropped them home afterwards....:D

Paid £85 off my council tax debt this morning too...:T

Managed to get two paper rounds done today before the rain came down....:T. Other than that, it's been a quiet day really.

Booked a hotel for a forthcoming football trip to Carlisle in two weeks time, managed to get two rooms for three people for £67.50 at Travelodge. One of the other two have paid me their share already and the other will pay me on Saturday meaning that I'll only pay £22.50 for the room. It's pretty unavoidable really as Carlisle is almost 300 miles from here - the room won't cost me anything in real terms as I'll be paid £103 fuel expenses but it will only cost me £70 in diesel....

Pick up the "new" car tomorrow. It's having a new cam belt fitted in the morning and then it's mine. Got a new car insurance quote through GoCompare tonight and the AA came out pretty well and it includes free roadside recovery and an online discount!!

Two more paper rounds to do tomorrow, the weekly shopping, collect the new car and pick up the boys from school. A home game this weekend so no real vast mileage to do!

Hi Mart, good to see you're keeping busy and the money keeps coming in! Hey you need to get that tooth looked at. Might you qaulify for free/reduced treatment as on a low income? In my experience things just get worse if they are left (and isn't toothache just the worst pain?) That new sensodyne toothpaste for sensetive teeth is a good stopgap-my ex nicked mine as he was in pain and was going off on tour,it was reduced to £2 in superdrug when I bought it a couple of weeks ago. He said it kep the pain at bay until he got back.
Tomorrow is always fresh, with no mistakes in it!

Thanks Suzi, I know I should go to the dentists but will I???? :p

Got two paper rounds done again today before going shopping (£37.59) in Asda. Have got quite a bit of stuff in now so hopefully shouldn't need to get any more in. Last day of the month this weekend so will work out my outgoings for last month again and put all four months worth on one post (if that makes sense).

The football team are home tomorrow so just a short trip. The new car needed a cam belt so won't be ready until Monday now which will make it a busy day. I've got the early morning courier job booked, then two paper rounds, home for a shower then down to the club by lunchtime. Spending the afternoon working there before a meeting at 5.45pm.

    Toodle pip!:D

Another win for the team today by a goal to nil, we're in the top half now!!:T:j Celebrated it (rather naughtily) by having a bumper McDonalds tonight (£11.45) but it's the first one for a while, I start the new eating plan on Monday and our winner today was scored by a player called MacDonald....

Bought £12.00 of gas and a £1.00 gamble ticket at football as well.

Tomorrow will probably see the boys football postponed as the weather forecast ain't great. Might try and catch up with some paperwork and/or housework if it's too bad.
