Hi Mart the golf sounded good what is your handicap in golf do you regularly play ?
Make £200 by end of January... £20.42/£200

Morning, you're up early pinklady....
I used to play off 14 when I played regularly (once or twice a week) but I struggle to play to 24 now. Yesterday, it was just an 18-hole par three course as the boys are too young for a full sized course....
Managed my first ever career hole-in-one there last summer too....:T0 -
Forgot to update last night.
Boys drew their football match 4-4 yesterday extending their unbeaten run to six matches now ( four wins, two draws). They were surprisingly up for it considering that they had played golf the day before. Harry, the younger one, scored a goal too....:j
Went to the quiz last night and we found the questions really easy, it was just the answers that were hard. Finished well down the field and used all our free tokens up so we'll have to pay again next week.
Good day money wise though spending just a pound at the quiz and £1.20 for a coffee at the football.
Today, income from HB and the papers went in so paid rent (£280.00), a tenner on the gas card and £4.00 on two packs of envelopes and a book that I will use for planning the website activity. Did a courier job this morning, have another one this evening and delivered 340 newspapers this morning.0 -
Thanks Smart Mart I follow your thread every day along with BENBEN's and find them very interesting, dont think i could do a diary mine would be quite boring and I doubt anyone would want to read it.
Keep up the hard work, I am on a budget too at the moment so watching everything I spend I am busy trying to sell things on ebay, amazon and Hotdealsuk to get some more money in.

To be honest, I think mine is boring sometimes - just talking about football, work and the boys plus a bit of less-than-frugal spending is hardly Shakespeare, is it?
It does help keeping one as I often take a moment when spending something I shouldn't spend and wonder what folk on here will say. Sometimes it stops me from buying but more often than not.......:o
Quiet night tonight updating websites and preparing for a busy paperwork-blitzing day tomorrow. All part of the getting-myself-sorted period I'm going through at the moment.0 -
Nothing much to report today at all as I've been pretty much glued to my seat all day except for meal times....:o
Got almost all my paperwork done today, little bit to finish off yet but the bulk of it is done. Haven't been out any further than the front garden today putting out the bin for tomorrow.
Just about finished a 1,000 word article on a monkey that became mayor, doing some proof reading then off to bed, I think.
Sold my old phone on e-Bay tonight along with a pair of trainers that didn't fit. Actually got more for the trainers than what I paid which is good news!0 -
Quite a non-descript day today again.
Delivered 120 papers this morning before lunch, interviewed an ex-player at noon, picked up some shopping from Somerfields, collected the boys from school then took them to training tonight. Wrote two articles totalling around 1,000 words....
Proof-read the programme tonight ahead of going to the club tomorrow morning then off to Dorset again to catch up with DD1.
Spends today - £6.94 on posting six football programmes and £8.47 in Somerfields.0 -
Two for the price of one today as I didn't update yesterday. Left home at 8am and well past 11pm when I arrived home so too tired to blog.
Yesterday went to the club from 9.30am to 3pm and sat in on interviews of our new signing, the manager and another player. Afterwards, straight over to DS1 / DD1 for the rest of the day. Treated them to tea (£5.40) so with lunch at £2.00 and £15.00 of diesel, that was it for spends.
Today I delivered 240 newspapers and went shopping in Asda (£11.38). I'm playing football for the parents football team on Sunday, and in goal too, so bought some gloves to wear for a fiver though I've got to take them back tomorrow as they're too big. Also put a tenner on the gas card as well.
Tomorrow is matchday at the club tomorrow so will be heading down after lunch - here's hoping for three points.0 -
Great day at the football today as the team won 4-0 and it was a sunny day too....:T
Spent £20.00 on diesel (Nectar points from Sainsbury's) and swapped the goalkeepers gloves over at Sports Direct shop ready for tomorrow.
Going over the park in the morning with the boys, a light lunch then off to play football for the first time in a year and only the second time in about ten years!! :eek:0 -
Well got through the game today okay and we won 5-2 so I only let in two (and one of those was a penalty)....:T. Absolutely shattered now and suffering in the legs department, particularly with a pair of grazed knees where the ground was so hard.
Took the boys home afterwards, won't see them till 5pm on Wednesday as I'll still be coming back from Carlisle after Tuesday night's game....:(
Went to the quiz tonight and came joint second but lost on the tiebreak question. It cost me a pound but I found more than £2 on a chair in the corner of the pub (I wasn't looking, it was just there...:o ).
Only spend today then was the £2 subs for the football game.
Tomorrow will be tough with a pair of wonky legs but there's work to be done. Two articles for the programme, a quick burst of housework, 340 newspapers to deliver plus the morning and evening courier jobs to do.0
