Anyone looking to fly BA

We fly with them to Greece each summer.

Every other year it seems, there are issues with industrial action and the likelihood of disruption to our holidays. Fortunately we have just missed them to date. Whilst I sympathise with the workers and agree with their right to take industrial action, I do not want my two weeks or so in the sun disrupted - I work hard for the other 50 weeks of the year. We normally end up scanning the news for anything thats likely to result in BA industrial action from Easter onwards.

A bit hypocritical of me I know.

However this year, Aegean are flying the same route, and are 20% cheaper. So we have decided to go with them next summer. And taking out proper independent travellers insurance.

FWIW come next summer there will almost certainly be a new government, and there will be a different political climate and economic outlook, which may mean the likelihood of strikes are reduced (??)
