Thanks to OP and to thanks to all contributors. :j

I didn't spot this thread till 4pm today, and so made my way to my nearest Sainsburys, and managed to get my ds various Lego sets and some Ben 10 bits, and so I am v happy.

My best buy is on the link attached... (cost me £13.50 at Sainsburys). My DD is 10 but acts like she is a teenager and thinks she is too old for "toys", but would be gutted if she didn't get some on xmas day, so this was an ideal. :D

Managed to get all I wanted apart from the Lego Board Game which although in my basket from 7pm last night had gone out of stock by just after 12 when I remembered to buy it. My only disappointment is my youngest who has decided that Batman is flavour of the month and Sainsburys don't do Batman

I can't complain as I got some good deals but i wonder if anyone got some of the toys that were online and reduced from the £75 mark or were they always ofs, one member of staff said they often don't list the popular higher priced toys
I was extremely fortunate and managed to get a boys ben 10 14 inch bike for £38 (£90 in toysrus!), the gaskett garage car down from £70 to £35, the lego police station for £25 and the playmobil jet for £20. That was just after midnight last night and when I checked my order status this morning around 9am they still had the bike and playmobil stuff in. It may be worth keeping an eye online as I would hope they may get more stock in?
  • I spent £30, I cant understand how people spent hundereds!

Yeah, I saw that Barbie doll you mentioned....I was putting out tickets all morning for this toy sale and our store had loads of those dolls. Our Sainsbury's is medium sized.

I have 4 kiddies aged 5, 4, 2 and 7 months so shoppings never cheap
