i was one of the people that stayed up till 12am last night to grab some bargains, all was well untill i tried to pay, and it wouldent accecpt my card details, a hour later i gave up, and was on the phone to the bank 1st thing this morning, all was well with the bank.

then i rang sainsburys to ask why they wouldent process my order, the man i spoke to just kept saying how they had processed so many orders last night, this was after he tried to tell me the sale dident start untill 3am!!

i dont know why they wouldent process my order, im gutted!:mad:

by this time EVERYTHING that i had put in my basket has sold out. not happy!!!!:mad:

I am considering goign tomorro am, but is it worth it? Store i went to today (savacentre one) wasnt impressive - had loads just not what I wanted.

Argh!!!! I placed an order at 08.30 this morn; came to £95 (that's all the nieces and nephews sorted plus a few bits for my sons). Opted for next day delivery but order is still showing as Processing :-(. Hope that's not a bad sign......

There do have Tamagotchis and also 20Q (the electronic thing which can tell you what you're thinking of if you answer 20 questions). They even had Monopoly and Scrabble. I'm sure the bigger stores have more of a variety.

I have to say whilst I did get some bargains, there is summat fishy about the prices of their Lego stuff in particular.

The Lego Anakin Starfighter (above) can be bought from Amazon for £19.97

and the Lorry/Helicopter set I bought at half price today for £17.50 is only £2 more in Argos and Tesco Direct so clearly the original £35 price tag was a huge rip off.

Were the prices inflated before the "sale"?

I went early this morning to my local- dissapointed at the amount of toys there was to choose from. The stuff that I want wasn't there and its all sold out on-line. I ended up buying about £45 worth of stuff (well, £90 before the discount) but its all going back. My son (18 months) has lots of toys that come apart in bits and I bought more today, in haste. I was after toys that DON'T come apart, yet I've stocked up on Mega Bloks!!

Hopefully when it goes back tomorrow they might have different stock.

I was on a high this morning after getting lots of stuff, but now I am a bit deflated. I have all the other pressies for kids in my family, just nothing for my son!!

Anyway, well done to those who were succesful and to those who weren't- keep trying!
