How on earth did you spend £300?? They dont sell that many toys in Sainburys!

    I spent £200:o
  • i can't believe it was online & i've missed everything! wasn't going to bother as don't know of any stores near me with big toy selection & got kids with me, anyway just managed to get ben 10 alien creation chamber online which ds1 wants & was about the only thing still in stock!
  • I was after Sylvanian families but very disappointed instore as all they had was a couple of animal families & some pocket baby things. Did anyone see any of the houses or the boat instore?
dont know if this is what your after. the entertainer, the online toy shop, has the lakeside lodge in stock for £29.99 and some other sets maybe worth a look hth.

There were none of these in the large store that I went to this morning.
I managed to get a few bits I wanted instore but very very disapppointed I missed the online sale.

Kicking myself i didn't stay up, last messge i read said it definitely was not on-line!
Thankfully i woke early 6am, and managed to get an order in.Received an e-mail showing som items despatched, anxious though not showing Sylvanian families shop as sent, but will wait and see.
Store was disappointing, staff complaing within 15 miuntes of store opening of calls regarding toy sale, and people trying to reserve stock.

If anyone has a Sylvanian hotel they would like to sell please send pm, of course i'd pay a bit extra.
    How much ?????????!!!

Got myself a few things online last night at 12am but still decided to go to my local Sainsburys (Exeter) this morning. Got there at about 10am and there was still quite a lot of stuff but some bare shelves already.
It wasn't too crazy but there were a lot of people with trolleys FULL to the brim! One old man filled his trolley with Sylvanian Families stuff, he literally took the whole lot off of the shelves and when he saw me looking laughed and said "Thats the grandaughters all sorted for xmas, cant go wrong at this price!" I am pressuming he has 20 grandaughters!!! lol

Really pleased with what i got though as it wasn't all online. I got Waybuloo beanies, Timmy Time figures and camera, In the Night Garden Mega Blocks sets, In the Night Garden push along toys, Playdough sets, JCB push along digger, Littlest pet shop set, and a Hungry Catepillar board game.

All sorted for Xmas now! :D:D:D

Wish I could afford to spend hundreds of pounds on toys!

I have a budget of £50 for each of my daughters this Christmas. Hope I can get some half price lego in the morning and it hasn't all been bought up by people with hundreds to spend...bitter, me? Nah.
