    The getting to know each other stuff makes a first date much eaiser though, leaves less gaps for conversation.

    I forgot to pick my black and white dress up from Tig's last week and she's gone on holiday.

    I have a black dress but think it's more of a Christmas party thing than a 'drinks in town' thing.

    I've got that black shirt dress with the sparkly bits that I had on at your house but I always feel like it looks a bit young on me.

    Or I have nice jeans or black trousers, but am a bit stuck for tops to wear with them.

    I am retaining water, feeling crampy and a bit hormonal though (no idea what's going on there, it's way too early), so anything very fitted is out!

    Cauliflower, leeks and spinach-also known as 'fart' soup for obvious reasons. It was a 'chuck whatever is in fridge' recipe. Quite nic actually!

    That's the shirt dress I was thinking about wearing. I do like it, and it's tailored rather than skin tight, plus I can wear opaque tights and cute shoes, so will be able to walk around town without freezing or breaking my neck in mega high heels.

    I'm just not sure if it isn't a bit young for me, with the frilly bit and the sparkly bits?
