    and for what it's worth, i wouldn't bother with the hairdye factor today... keep it up you sleeve and use it as feel good factor on the 2nd date!

    and also, the dress is good... not at all too young with thick tights and them cute shoes from the weekend.... only you could save that for a going out date and go slightly more casual for a monday night... ??
    I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....

    I'll go with the shirt dress and the cute shoes then. Would go for something more casual but haven't got any nice tops that say 'first date' really. Going to have to find room in my already overstretched budget for a couple of new tops if we do go out again!

    Gemmzie - eek, that doesn't sound good. Is it someone you are close to?

    Do you rent, or have a mortgage? If you rent you might get something towards it, there's no harm in applying.

    Bunny, cut each thing down into baby steps - like Snags says, find the paperwork first. Or with the ebay stuff, get it all together first, then sort it, then take pics... you don't have to do it all in one go.

    I'm getting really hungry but feel really queasy at the thought of food, I have done for days now. Don't know what to have to tempt myself to eat. Might just have some wedges at book club later.
