and Froddy to us flat-vowelled Northerners most Southern accents sound posh! Derbyshire accents sound posh to Lancastrians!
 Basaically it's the a -
 :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
A true 'Pompey' accent is about the closest to Cockney you'll get outside of London! Lots of dropping of hs and ts, and th is f! Also lots of ain'ts! I'm assuming DSGF has a Portsmuthian accent then Just like me Just like me
Doc has signed me off for 2 more weeks and is sending me for blood tests (as reassurance rather than because she thinks there's something wrong). But I have to make an effort to help myself (which I have been trying to do!) but it's easier said than done! And I need to seriously think about work and whether the extra workload and responsibility is actually worth it
I have washing on the line and ....... errrr ....... that's about it!

Rosepink - the dog got out when I was calling the cats in. If she decides she's going she goes. She can be darn fast. I don't no what was the funniest wandering about the estate with cat in PJ's, hiding in friends garden in the hope that she would decide to visit, which she has done in the past. Billy climbing the tree to entice her. Or what the nice neighbour how finally caught her thought of me, dog and 3 cats all waddling home:rotfl::rotfl:
Cleaning wise, can't decide as have messy children here. LR - there's no point at mo. Kitchen just needs S&S, looks like its the upstairs hotspots then.
TTFNThe problem with common sense is its not very common:rotfl:

I guess what Im trying to say is dont get disheartened, it does get easier, get the kids involved (they will appreciate it as I used to hate it when they asked if a friend could stay over) now my kids know they can have friends over any time, they keep there bedrooms tidy, make their own beds in the morning, they dont have floordrobes any more and the best part is they dont get nagged at! They all have linen baskets for dirty laundry and they know if its not in the laundry basket it doesnt get washed (they soon learn when they want to wear their favourite top/jeans etc and its not clean)
Thanks for that, dreamy. I've only been flying for a few weeks and reading your post has given me new motivation. DS1 may need to read it, too...
After the first almost instant improvements around the house (I've kept on top of a few areas), I seem to have got stuck. I've got a new strategie now, with a much more long-term approach. Because I'm tackling so many areas at the same time (diet, HM food, money, CHAOS, work) it will take a while to see a big difference, but I can't afford to put all my energy into one area, so this is how it's got to be.
On that note, I'll stick to my limit of only reading the last page of the thread and get on with my rather longish list for today.
Would you like to borrow two kids until Sunday??? :rotfl:

I didn't end up joining the HHC i found Dr Who toys on the Asda website really cheap. So i've ordered some of those and some clothes for DS2. Trying to find clothes for DS1 is a nightmare as he's in age 13 and most shops stop doing kids clothes at age 12. Men's clothes are too big.
I need to shift myself so i'm going to do a HHC at 11.45 if anyone wants to join me?0

You are right to ask the question, but don't make any decisions until you are feeling better. Do you think that the additional responsibilities bring on the problems, or do they just make them more severe? PM me if you want to talk.
What are you going to see?

            Morning all
Star for today's list please, Soappie
I've got one load of washing out on the line, bits and bobs of mine (cardigan, housecoat and such like). I didn't have enough for a load otherwise but the forecast looks horrid from tomorrow night so I wanted to keep ahead. Tomorrow I hope to get all the workstuff done before it rains.
Hope eveyone's OK, still catching up and nearly time to start dinner. Back later.
