it's on offer on Amazon for over £60 well one version of it
    dilemma
    do I sell
I really rarely refer to it...
trouble is it's THAT heavy it would cost me a tenner to post it BUT the last time I cleared out old books oxfam had them in a locked display case...
(I rather regretted being so generous)
Errm, you have to think about it??? If you can't decide, give the book to me! :D

  • Someone mentioned they will nag me if I do phase 2, I tried to multi quote but must have had 3 already, so please remind me who you were! I will nag you too!

Question: I went to the library on Tues to get the books I'd ordered and she gave me three books. And when I got home there was a notice in the post to say some more books had come in - they must have been there when I went to collect. So do you think I can ask the library to pay the 50p parking fee I need to pay to go back down and get them? Bit annoyed that she didn't give me ALL my books the first time!

It may seem like a daunting task when you take a proper good look around your home and it finally dawns on you that its in chaos. I lived in chaos for years then last year my world was turned into turmoil, I left my husband and moved back to the UK, chance for a new start. Before moving I chucked out boxes I had stored in the celler, they hadnt been opened for 5 years so figured that whatever was in them I didnt need. I had black bin liners full of clothes (both my own and 4 kids) so I sorted through it so that we all only had 10 t shirts, 10 jumpers/sweatshirts 10 pairs of trousers etc etc etc you dont need loads of clothes its just more work. When I moved into my new place it was immaculate a brand spanking new house, gorgeous kitchen etc nothing like the Army Quarters I had lived in over the past 15 years and it was also somewhere I chose to live rather than being told to live (if you know what I mean) so I planned to keep it looking great. Start with babysteps and build up gradually, it DOES get better and easier although you may not think it at times.

I now have a place for everything, paper work gets filed the minute its come through the door and been read, I keep my shredder plugged in at the side of my chair so letters get shredded daily rather than stacks piling up (I hate sitting their shredding its so time consuming and boring) what I did do over the summer was after we had a BBQ i used to burn paperwork on the coals! Maybe you could use bonfire night as a way of doing this?

I guess what Im trying to say is dont get disheartened, it does get easier, get the kids involved (they will appreciate it as I used to hate it when they asked if a friend could stay over) now my kids know they can have friends over any time, they keep there bedrooms tidy, make their own beds in the morning, they dont have floordrobes any more and the best part is they dont get nagged at! They all have linen baskets for dirty laundry and they know if its not in the laundry basket it doesnt get washed (they soon learn when they want to wear their favourite top/jeans etc and its not clean)

The best part for me is that I now love coming home from work and knowing that I dont have that much to do, I have my daily routines (bathroom, toilets, kitchen, lounge) and it now takes me no more than an hour to do, I usually do 2 loads of washing a day and iron it that same day and put it away (no more piling it up in a basket to iron later). I also have time now to spend doing what I want to do and time enjoying my children and making memories.

    OK ive waffled on enough,

Mr T should be here with my shopping shortley so Im going to have a cuppa whilst I wait. This week has been great with no children here, 1 cup 1 plate 1 knife fork spoon fantastic not much washing up! but i can honestly say ive missed them, the house is just too quiet.

    Have a great weekend everyone

  • Ok, good news from the garage, car has passed her MOT with only one tiny clip needing replacing - but does explain my slightly wobbly lights! :D

Now visitors & DS on their way back - so

    HHC 11.30 to 12.00 anyone?

    My jobs are

    put DS's room back together
hide the Christmas shopping before DS returns. :D
    turn office into guest bedroom
    hoover through upstairs
find spare duvets in the loft or guests will be sleeping without...LOL
shopping list for Mr T's later once car is returned

    OK that'll do for now,

    Moam
Although no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.
