    Afternoon all

And welcome careerwumman - even though Toots is indisposed there are ways of getting welcome messages out. Enjoy! ;)

Sexy - that's a good result on the union stuff so far - keep at it..

Piggers - it's not just biological sciences that have long hours, in my day, computer science courses were one of the ones requiring most hours on campus. The FESS (faculty of economics and social science) lot would turn up for the first couple of days then you wouldn't see them until the exams!

Right, I need to work in a sort of patchy way this week. I have a meeting here tomorrow afternoon so I need to do the kitchen and bathroom - living room list is almost complete..

  • pigpen you have my sympathies, all those lab hours, and the girl next to me in hall used to get up on thursdays, groaning. "what's the matter?" id say, "i've got a leeeeccctuuuurrrreeee!" she'd say (english student).

sexy i hate to say it but keep pestering. ringing someone at county is not your union supporting you.

rosepink we are not trying, or trying not to!!! but imagine if one bought condoms in boots, what advice the woman would give!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
Regarding dehumidifiers, ours is an ebac one, cost £154, but it is to cope with a 4 bed house that has water running down the walls, you can get smaller and less expensive.

Well done, sexy on contacting the union. They need to give you a caseworker. On the list of jobs today is a remortgage and a quote for floor and window renovation.
so chase them up...WE don't think 'it's fair' but thought does nothing.
And yes, giving you the contact at the lea IS A HELP but WHAT ARE they GOING TO DO TO PROTECT/SUPPORT you THEIR MEMBER:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

    *humph* at your union!

Another HUGE block of planning done by myself and my job-share partner. (I would prefer to call her just 'my partner' but there are 'connotations' to that LOL) so am feelingvery pleased.
Just got a few is to dots and ts to cross then I sahll look at the list.
Now doing the list is a whole different ball game but I will look.
    Joints eased...so definitely arthritis then.
(Goes to google Shackleton's high seat chairs lol)

    Grateful - great minds - I think that's a fob-off tbh!

    Sexy
    - well done for phoning the union

    Ishtar
    wishing you well soon

    Mudders how is your DS?

Have been doing really well in the garden. One compost bin empties to veg patch and the other thoroughly turned, that one just needs leaving to finish now. DS has cut the grass too.

Just having tea and cake and then I'm going back out for a final HHG before it starts to get dark and I need to do dinner.
